Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. wagoninn.rescuegroups.org Tank is a handsome pup who is looking for a home. Tank is with our partner rescue but hoping to come to NJ on our next transport. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial for our dogs currently in Louisiana to approved adopters. Tank is a cute, playful pup. He was adopted but sadly, his new family is allergic to him. Tank is good with other dogs and kids. We are guessing on his breeds.  Tank is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.   His     adoption fee is $450 . Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. How to Adopt Me! If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to  wagoninn.rescuegroups.org . Click on the orange Online Adoption Application button to fill out an application. A Wag On Inn volunteer will be in touch soon! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 4, 2023, 10:03 pm

Story
Meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy's MEGA Adoption Event, Home for the Holidays, on Saturday, December 2nd from 11am - 3pm at Immanuel Union Church (693 Jewett Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314) Meet Bristol! Bristol is a 6 month old, 22 pound Mountain Feist. Bristol will make a wonderful companion for anyone; you wouldn't know that she spent her first six months of life in a puppy mill! She's a little nervous at first but it only takes a few minutes for her to warm up to new humans. Bristol is very smart and catches on quickly! She has learned commands such a sit, stay and come. She's doing great with potty training and is going outside most of the time. Walking on the leash is another one of her superpowers as she enjoys long walks through the neighborhood. She's crate trained and sleeps through the night without any accidents. Playing with her foster's resident dog is one of her favorite past times, and don't let her size fool you: she definitely can hold her own! If you're looking for a sweet, playful pup, Bristol might be the girl for you! Bristol is currently being fostered in Staten Island. Her adoption fee is $500. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Nation was dropped off outside a kill shelter after hours. We do not understand because he is such a good boy! Nation is a 7-month-old, Feist mix. He weighs 23 pounds now, and we expect him to mature to around 30 pounds. He wears a short coat of black and white which he loves having stroked! Nation is good with other dogs of all sizes, and cats. He loves to play with toys and to be cuddled in someone’s lap! Nation would make a great family addition! (Check out his video!) (ME, 10/27/23)  **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $375 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  December 4, 2023, 11:36 am
