Story
Meet Tina, the 8-year-old foster pup who's equal parts adorable and quirky! With one ear perpetually perked up like she's always listening for the next adventure (or treat), this sweet girl has quite the personality! Tina's ultimate joys? Cozy naps and those irresistible butt scratches that make her tail wag in pure bliss. Don't let her love for lounging fool you—she's a pro on the leash, ready for relaxed strolls around the block. Around other dogs, she might let out a bark or two to say hello, but if they're laid-back, she's all about peaceful coexistence. Tina shines with kids, thanks to her gentle, easygoing nature, though she has a playful naughty streak—keep those Legos and small plastic toys out of reach, or they might become hers! If you're looking for a loving companion who's low-maintenance yet full of heart, Tina could be your perfect match!

He could truly be happy in any home as he gets along with other dogs and cats, though he loves being with his people most of all! Story
Who needs an antennae to pick up all the good channels when you've got fabulous ears and the personality and fun style of lots of sitcoms rolled into one brindle body?! Meet Val, the gal who will be famous for her ears and great personality! Val is a Feist mix younger adult, weighing about 36 lbs, who can be a but shy in new situations but settles in quickly and then is super quick to make friends and find fun all around. Val is young and energetic and would love an active family. She is a great size that will likely fit in your lap but can hike like a dog 4x her size. Val would do fine in a home with other dogs, and may find they help to build some confidence in new things, but would be just fine on her own too. Val is channeling all of the yummy stuff a dog should be through those big ole ears. Come and meet this fun ball of Feist! *Weekend Host Feedback: "Val was a fun little ball of energy! Riding in the car was not her favorite, but she eventually laid down and settled. She walks well on a leash, was very focused on the walk, and seemed to understand keeping a loose leash pretty quickly. She was unbothered by passing people or dogs. Only one accident the first night. Inside, she loves playing with toys and will keep herself occupied with stuffed toys and zoomies. She REALLY loves being outside. Val slept in the bed and was a huge snuggler!" **Hiking feedback: "She has puppy energy!  She was very focused on the walk and enjoyed jumping up high on a large fallen log. I think she’d do well with an active family and her petite size is just great". *Sleepover feedback: " Val was excellent about letting us know when she needed to go outside. She is such a love bug and always wants to be near you, whether you’re cooking dinner, relaxing on the couch, or going to sleep. She even slept in the bed with me, and I had absolutely no issues. She would do really well with an active family, as she loved going to the state parks to hike and would definitely enjoy having a backyard to run around in. Val also loves toys! We got her two stuffed toys (one she picked out herself!), and she did a great job keeping herself busy playing with them". *Additional feedback: "She’s playful, active, and incredibly affectionate — she would thrive with an active family who can give her plenty of love, outdoor time, and play. Val is an absolute joy and such a special girl".

Story
Short legged and spicy is the new "in" thing this coming year so Noreen has it all covered and man, she is a cutie patootie! Noreen is a Feist mix adult who weighs about 28 lbs full grow. How is that for a fabulous size? Especially because she is as able to fit into your lap as easily as she is able to hike with the big dogs. Noreen does well with other dogs and would love to have a doggo friend in the home, to follow, play with and pal around next to when you're busy. She is a little shy about new things but warms up super quick and wags her whole little tubular body when she is happy which is a sight to see! Great in her crate and a gal who likes to keep it clean, Noreen is the little package that packs a full punch of cuteness day in and out. Do not miss this one. Sleepover feedback: "Noreen was such a fun girl to have for the weekend. She was busy investigating the toy box and curious about all the things around her. She was great with my dog (50lb/11 year old/pointer-pit mix) and really tried to get her to play! While she was unsuccessful they did take little naps next to each other. Noreen was great on a leash and learned to sit at the door when she was ready to go out to do her business. She's spunky and smart and will make a great companion for someone and would probably love to have another dog around to play with".

Story
Meet Isabella — a 10-year-old, 7 lb Chihuahua mix with a gentle spirit and an adorable personality. Quick Facts: Name: Isabella Breed: Chihuahua Mix Age: 10 years old Weight: 7 lbs. House-Trained: Yes Crate-Trained: No (doesn’t need a crate) Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not tested, likely would be fine Good with Kids: Only older, calmer children Energy Level: Low Fence Required: No (unless not using a leash to go outside) Special Needs: Can be timid at first until she feels safe About Isabella’s Breed: Our best guess is that Isabella is a Chihuahua mix. Chihuahuas are tiny dogs with big personalities, known for their confidence, loyalty, and affectionate nature. Despite their small size, they are bold and spirited, often acting as if they are much larger than they really are. An ideal home for a Chihuahua is one that provides gentle handling, consistent training, and lots of companionship. They thrive in apartments or houses alike, as long as they are kept safe and warm. Because they bond closely with their humans, they do best in homes where they aren’t left alone for long periods. Early socialization helps them feel comfortable with children and other pets, but their small size means they are safest in households where interactions are calm and respectful. All About Isabella: Isabella is a healthy, fully potty-trained girl who doesn’t need a crate thanks to her impeccable manners. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys both potty breaks on walks and sniffing around the yard. Isabella is wonderful with people and loves to snuggle, though she would do best with older, calmer kids due to her age and size. She gets along well with other dogs in her foster home and, with her calm demeanor, would likely do fine with cats too. Isabella’s Highlights: • House trained, no crate needed • Dog-friendly, lives peacefully with several foster siblings • Loves people, prefers gentle, calm interactions • Lower energy, happiest snuggling and being loved • Timid at first, but blossoms with patience and trust • Adorable quirks, runs to her dog bed to be picked up, rolls over for belly rubs, and trots to bed at night for snuggles • Finding her voice, now makes cute “chi” barks and noises at dinnertime • Ideal home: quiet, patient household—best with a middle-aged or older individual or couple Isabella is a sweet, loyal companion who’s still coming out of her shell. She may be reserved at first, but once she feels safe, she reveals her loving, snuggly side—and even a touch of diva charm. She’s ready to spend her golden years in a calm, caring home where she can be cherished for the gentle soul she is. Crate-Trained: Yes Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: A little scared of cats Good with Kids: Yes, with older kids Energy Level: Medium Fence Required: Yes - he can be an "escape artist" About Newton’s Breed: Chihuahuas are bold, confident and loyal. They are intelligent and trainable, though they may be a little stubborn at times, but they keep it interesting! They are also known to be vocal and love to “chit chat”! Newton is a gentle soul with a playful streak and a head tilt that’ll melt your heart. When his foster mom talks to him, he tilts his head side to side like he’s hanging on every word! He is very attached to his people and would do best with someone or a family who is home more often. He would also love a doggie sibling to find comfort in and build his confidence!
