Story
Hi everyone meet Baker! He's fun, adorable, and the most athletic dogs you'll ever meet! Baker loves hikes, and going on runs. If you need a best friend to exercise with he is the one for you! Baker is a great guard dog but also is friendly with other dogs, including small dogs and children. He doesn't know his own strength and could be kind of a "thug" but hes a sweet boy who just loves to play. He will play tug-a-war with you and likes to play tag, but if you try to fetch with him he may get bored by the 3rd throw. He is very intelligent and can learn new tricks. He is also food motivated so he can learn things very quickly. He loves to sniff around and explore, so hes the perfect companion for a hike or a walk/run. He loves the outdoors! If you live with other people, he can get separation anxiety and be more hyper, otherwise, if its just you and him he can be very calm. Overall hes a great dog but he needs lots of attention and I'm very sad to let him go but I travel now

Story
MEET  PEEP!!! Peep is a sweet and shy girl that has a lot of fun and spunk. It takes some time for Peep to warm up to adults, but she adores children. Once she warms up to her adult humans, she will show sweet, gentle side. Peep is a chewer so lots of chew toys are necessary. She could use additional training, and will progress quickly and be more than willing to please you. Peep would do well with a calm dog in the household that can teach her the ropes, but she would also be okay as an only dog. Peep just needs some time to adjust to a new home and family. Once she gets to know you, she will be your ride-or-die girl. Complete an application and meet Peep. Story
MEET  STORM! Storm is a 3-year-old, 70 lb Lab mix with a sleek black coat and a passion for adventure. This high-energy guy thrives on movement and would make an ideal hiking, jogging, or active walking partner. He’s treat-motivated and smart, making training both fun and effective.   Storm does well with other dogs but can be a bit much at first — he doesn’t always realize how big or bouncy he is. Slow, thoughtful introductions to new dog friends are recommended. He’s not a match for cats and would do best in a home without small children due to his size and enthusiasm. He’s already housebroken, crate trained, and eager to find a home that will give him both structure and fun. Storm would love a yard to run in, a human to bond with, and plenty of opportunities to burn off energy and learn new skills. Storm Would Thrive In a Home With: • An active person or family who enjoys outdoor activities • A secure, fenced yard (6 ft required) • No cats and no small children • Dog-savvy adopters who can continue his training • Slow intros with any resident dogs   Storm is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to leap into his next chapter. Story
MEET MACI MAE! Maci Mae is a sweet, fun-loving spirit bursting with personality and ready to bring joy to her forever home! This wiggly, happy girl LOVES to play — whether it’s fetch, tug, or shredding her favorite toys, she’s always game for fun. Maci is dog-friendly with pups her size or larger, though she can get a little rowdy when the play kicks off. She’d thrive with an active family and a backyard where she can zoom around and burn off her energy. This eager-to-please girl is crate trained, sleeps soundly at night, and is highly food motivated — making training a breeze. Due to her strength and enthusiasm, Maci would do best with older kids and adults who can match her energy and help her channel it into play and adventure. Story
MEET THOR #8! Thor is a 64 lb senior sweetheart with a big heart. Found tied to a park bench and later placed on the euthanasia list at county shelter after refusing to eat, Thor has been through more than his fair share of heartbreak. But thanks to a loving foster, he’s now rediscovering joy — and he's ready to find his forever home. Despite his age, Thor is still full of life. He loves playing fetch (yes, he even brings the ball back!), enjoys car rides, and finds comfort in his crate and toys. He’s house trained, gentle with older children, and does well with cats. His interactions with other dogs are unknown, so a slow and careful introduction would be necessary. Thor takes time to feel safe and trust new people, but once he does, he’s affectionate, loyal, and eager to please. His ideal adopter will be patient, kind, and experienced — someone who understands that rescue dogs come with history, but also with the most rewarding love. Thor Would Thrive In a Home With: • A calm, patient environment • Older kids or a quiet adult household • No other dogs or very slow intros if present • A secure, fenced yard (6 ft required) • Someone who values companionship over constant activity Thor is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to spend his golden years in comfort, safety, and love. MEET TENNIS!! Looking for your new best friend? Meet Tennis — a 6-year-old Lab/Pit mix and certified lovebug! This sweet and social girl wants nothing more than to be right by your side, whether you're heading out on a hike or winding down for the night. Tennis is crate trained, house trained, and sometimes even tucks herself in when she knows it’s bedtime! She’s affectionate, gentle, and always ready for the next adventure. Whether it’s a walk through the neighborhood, a trip to Home Depot, or a splash in the pool, Tennis is all in. With her thick black-and-white coat, she enjoys a good brushing and (believe it or not) loves being lightly vacuumed! Tennis will thrive in a home where she’s the only pet — she wants to be your one and only. Because of her size and energy, a home without small children or small animals is best. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this affectionate companion, she’s ready to meet you. Ready to meet Tennis? Apply today: www.underdogaz.com/adoption-applicationAugust 8, 2025, 6:21 pm

Ruby is a bright, affectionate, and high-energy dog who loves to swim, play fetch, and show off her tricks—she can shake, give high fives, and reliably “drop it” on command thanks to her puppy and intermediate training. She’s friendly with new people, crate trained, great in the car, and happiest when she’s active, so she’d do wonderfully with someone who can give her daily walks and plenty of playtime. Ruby enjoys toys, loves being close to her person, and thrives in a home with a fenced yard where she can run and explore safely. MEET GIZMO! Gizmo loves all the attention and will be a devoted family friend. Or, if you like to tackle the great outdoors, he would love to go on hikes for many miles in the wilderness. Gizmo has just the right amount of calm and mischief. He loves to lay at his foster's feet when she is working and let her rub his belly with her feet. He has not met another dog that he didn't like. Sometimes other dogs don't like Gizmo because he is big, energetic and can get in their face. He is just a big goof! He has been great at learning manners and only jumps on people when he is unbearably excited. What Gizmo Needs A home where he can get at least one walk a day Some sort of outdoor space No cats or dogs under 20 lbs A family with older children (he's great with the 8-year-olds in his foster home, but may be too frisky for younger ones) The Good Stuff Great on leash Friendly with all dogs he meets Smart, active, and affectionate Loves belly rubs and being near his people   Are you looking for a smart and active partner to add to your family? Meet Gizmo today! If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application: www.underdogaz.comOctober 31, 2025, 7:03 pm
