Story
Mojo is an excellent young dog who would be incredible on a farm as a sheep herder or cattle dog. He is incredibly, intelligent, and very athletic. He is an excellent Guardian dog for our other animals. We are having to rehome him, because he is fearful of strangers, and has bit our son. He needs a home where there is not a lot of commotion in and out regarding people, but would be an excellent guard, dog and excellent farm dog. He’s very affectionate, is a total pleaser, always looking at you for the next instruction. He has never had an accident in the home, and comes when you call him. He follows all of the basic commands such as sit, lay, shake, come, etc. he could be very trained for farm work. We are unable to keep him for the safety of our young children, and the children that come in and out of this home on a regular basis. He is the first animal we have ever had to rehome in our 25 years of marriage, but we trust he will find an incredible home where he is a perfect fit.

Story
Located in: Boise, ID Breed: Lab/Hound Mix Age: 8(ish) Adoption Fee: $50 Jack is a wonderfully mellow dog with an amazing personality. He loves his ear rubs and chew toys but most of all he loves getting outdoors for all the smells and all the walks. He is great on a leash and leads the way with little redirecting. He ignores other animals including cats which he has been wonderful with in his temporary home. He is not afraid to let you know when it is breakfast or dinner time and loves to root around his food puzzle. Everyone who meets Jack comments how wonderful and mellow that he is. He has lost some of his hearing but is adapting well to hand and body commands. Jack is looking for his forever home and would benefit from a place that allows him to get outdoors frequently. He loves being around people and doesn’t mind other animals as long as they are respectful. He does have some allergies that are well-maintained with his medication which he takes without issue.

Story
Located in: Boise, ID Breed: Lab Mix Age: 8 months Adoption Fee: $75 neutered, vaccinated, microchipped Adoption Application: https://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ Chugs is a delightfully fun and energetic boy who came to Fuzzy Pawz when his people could not keep him. This guy is not only sweet and fun-loving but equally smart as well! He learns quickly and is VERY eager to please. He looks for direction from his people as if to ask “What do you want?” or “Is this okay?” He’s house-trained and crate-trained, but would rather sleep in your bed if he was allowed. This guy is a true cuddle bug—he comes up and puts his head nicely in your lap for pets, and maybe if he thinks you won’t notice, he will attempt to crawl in your lap. You’ll notice, but sometimes it’s just too sweet to resist. Chugs has not been exposed to many things in his young life, so can be fearful of new experiences and new people. He’s learning every day and making progress. Chugs can get very protective of the women in his life; he will bark/growl at anyone who gets close to his lady (even someone else who lives in the home). He is young and eager to please so a family that is willing to put in the work would be best; or he would also do great in an all male household. He will not do well with kids in the home; a quieter home life with slow introductions to the big wide world would be best. He also has some separation anxiety that his foster home is working with him on. He will cry for a bit when put in his crate but is not destructive. We will recommend he does not live in an apartment, since he can get kind of loud when he’s upset about being left. He does settle down and is now crating at night with little complaint. He does take comfort if someone is in the room with him, so sleeping by his family’s bedside might just be the answer. (His foster home cannot provide this for him, but his foster mom slept on the couch in the same room and he was okay). Chugs is a big silly puppy that only wants love, attention, food, and play. What else is there? He would love a confident, happy dog sibling to play with who will tolerate his goofiness and sometimes overzealousness. He does get along with other dogs, instigating play, and listens to corrective action when he’s playing rougher than they prefer. He is big and still growing, so he might be too much for a small dog. His favorite game is tug, whether with people or a doggie playmate. Chugs will be a wonderful companion for any active family who’s willing to put in a little effort and patience to help him grow up and grow into himself with confidence. He has so much potential with his smarts and willingness to please.

Foster Location: Boise ID Age: 12ish Breed: Lab Mix Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped Adoption fee: $50 DO NOT email us, you must fill out an application if interested: Adoption Application: https://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ Upon meeting Buddy everyone immediately says he is the sweetest most gentle boy in the world. Buddy came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue after being abandoned at a rental property. He was super thin and kind of shut down. A fast trip to the vet and some super yummy groceries and he is now all set to find his forever home. The vet gave him a clean bill of health, all of his blood work looked amazing! This handsome boy is so gentle and kind, he melts when you pet him and is just so easy-going! He is house trained, crate trained, dog door trained and walks well on a leash. He is great with other dogs, good with cats and has never met a human he didn’t like. All Buddy needs in his retirement years is a soft, warm bed; plenty of pets, good food and a whole lot of love. If you are looking for a mellow and loyal companion Buddy is your boy.
