Story
Mojo is an excellent young dog who would be incredible on a farm as a sheep herder or cattle dog. He is incredibly, intelligent, and very athletic. He is an excellent Guardian dog for our other animals. We are having to rehome him, because he is fearful of strangers, and has bit our son. He needs a home where there is not a lot of commotion in and out regarding people, but would be an excellent guard, dog and excellent farm dog. He’s very affectionate, is a total pleaser, always looking at you for the next instruction. He has never had an accident in the home, and comes when you call him. He follows all of the basic commands such as sit, lay, shake, come, etc. he could be very trained for farm work. We are unable to keep him for the safety of our young children, and the children that come in and out of this home on a regular basis. He is the first animal we have ever had to rehome in our 25 years of marriage, but we trust he will find an incredible home where he is a perfect fit.

Story
Meet Bogart! Bogart is a male, 2 year old, German Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dog and Labrador Retriever blend. He is 46 pounds.Bogart is participating in our Adopt From Home program. Here is what his owner has to say about him, "We adopted Bogart from West Valley Humane Society Feb 2022, when he was 3 months old. He is turning 2 years this November and is still as playful as a puppy. I adopted him a week before I found out I was pregnant. He has been ok with our baby so far, but he is anxious around other kids, like the cousins when they visit, and jumps on them and scares them. He is very affectionate toward us. He gets along well with our other dog who is a little larger and more docile. He gets very reactive when meeting other dogs in public. He has a lot of energy and would love to run around and play with other dogs if he was better socialized and trained. He needs more walks and attention than we can give him at this point in our lives."Bogart will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we do always recommend a staff-assisted meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We do not know how he would do with cats.Bogart is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home today! If you're interested in meeting Bogart, please reach out to Andrea at (909) 273-0531 or andrea.snow15@outlook.com

Story
Meet Luna, a 2-year-old Retriever, Labrador/Mix.?? She's the perfect companion for an active family who enjoys outdoor adventures and plenty of playtime."Luna is a very loving, playful, and friendly and gentle with my wife and I and our teenage kids. She absolutely loves to play fetch with her tennis balls or ropes," Luna's previous owner said. This sweet pup adores playing fetch and splashing around in water, making her the ultimate playmate for those sunny days at the park or by the river. Luna's friendly nature also makes her a wonderful companion for families with teenagers, as she thrives on love and attention.Luna has been housebroken and is comfortable both indoors and outdoors. However, it's important to note that Luna doesn't do well with small animals and cats.If you're searching for a loving, playful, and loyal companion to join your family, then Luna might just be the perfect match for you. Luna will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. Luna will need a home with no cats and no small animals. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We also think Luna would do best with children that are 6 years and older.
