Meet Morocco. Big dog, bigger heart. Morocco is a retriever/Great Pyrenees mix who’s basically a living teddy bear. Found as a stray, but you’d never guess—he’s mellow, affectionate, and loves staying close to his people. Great on retractable leash, happy to hang out in an unfenced yard, and always ready to jump up to sneak in a kiss. He’s tall enough to rest his nose on the counter, but he’s a perfect gentleman and has not taken food from it. Meet Cosmo This adorable guy has the spunk and spirit of a typical pup. His mom was unfortunately run over and he had to have a little help being bottle fed until able to eat on his own. You would not know it by looking at him or in his glowing personality. Cosmo is always up for a romp during playtime. He is also one of the sweetest snugglers. Cosmo has grown to adoption age in the same wonderful household and his foster mom would love to give you all the details on his daily life. Cosmo is well socialized and would do great in a home with or without dogs and/or with or without children. If you are looking for a dedicated family companion, you can’t go wrong with this cutie. Luna is a beautiful 1.5-year-old Lab mix who is quietly stealing hearts. She’s a sweet, gentle, and loyal young dog who is a bit shy at first and needs some time to warm up. Luna didn’t have the best start to her life, but she is learning more every day what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for — and it’s wonderful to watch her confidence grow. Luna is not overly energetic, but she does enjoy playtime and truly loves going for walks on a leash. With how happy and focused she is on walks, she would make an excellent walking or running partner for someone who enjoys getting outside together. She is extremely food motivated (nothing is off limits — even green beans, broccoli, and cucumbers!), which makes training and bonding much easier. Luna does very well during the day while her people are at work or school, and  she often chooses to relax inside the crate on her own. Because so much of the world is still new to her — sounds, people, and experiences — Luna does best with gentle reassurance and patience. Once she knows she’s safe, her sweet personality shines through. She would likely thrive with a younger, playful dog in the home who could help build her confidence and show her the ropes. Luna truly just needs a chance. With a little time and kindness, she warms up within days and becomes a devoted, loving companion. Say hello to Pixie, a sweet and sassy little hound/lab mix girl weighing about 13.5 pounds who has a beautiful cinnamon-colored coat, a striking black muzzle, and white stocking legs that make her absolutely irresistible. One look at her precious face and it’s easy to see how she could melt even the toughest heart. Pixie is the perfect mix of gentle sweetness and playful sass. Pixie is a world-class snuggler who loves curling up for naps with her people. She enjoys playing when you engage with her, but she’s also perfectly happy entertaining herself with her toys. She has a soft and thoughtful side too—new things can make her a little shy at first—but she’s gaining confidence every day and continues to blossom. Pixie loves to play! She is the reigning queen of the sneak attack when playing with her brother. At mealtime she’s a perfect lady, sitting patiently while you prepare her food and eating enthusiastically with the sweetest, gentlest manners. Pixie is currently working on her potty training. She willingly goes into her crate and will sleep there, though she’d much rather snuggle up next to you in bed (she may have been a little spoiled!). She sleeps through the night, can jump onto the couch, and confidently goes up and down stairs—even using stairs to climb onto the bed. This smart little girl is also incredibly intelligent and curious. She quickly figures out treat puzzles and is quite the problem solver when she misplaces her favorite toy. Pixie loves meeting new people and will happily run over to greet visitors. She hasn’t had the chance to meet dogs outside of her brother yet, and while she hasn’t met cats, she does seem interested in watching outdoor critters through the window. Pixie has a fair amount of puppy energy when she’s awake and playing, so she would thrive in a home with a larger fenced yard where she can run and burn off energy. Because of this, apartment living may not be the best fit unless her adopter can provide plenty of walks and exercise. If you’re looking for a loving, cuddly, playful companion with a soft heart and just the right spark of sass, Pixie may be your perfect match. She’s ready to fill a lucky home with warmth, laughter, and affection.
