Story
Booth is an incredibly handsome 6-year-old Labrador mix with a heart as big as his bright, beaming smile! This sweet guy is a huge fan of sniffy walks—his nose is always on a mission! Booth bonds deeply with his human friends and just needs a little time and patience to warm up to new people. Booth would do best in a home with family members aged 12 and up who can help build his confidence with new friends and offer him the love and understanding he deserves. He thrives in an environment where his boundaries are respected and his mind and body are kept engaged with fun, enriching activities. Booth is such a good boy with so much love to give—he’s just waiting for the right person or family to give him that chance to shine! Stop in and meet Booth in person during our adoption hours. For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you. All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.

Story
Hi, I'm Wrench. Thanks for taking a look at me! I know my cute face is irresistible, but remember that I will take up lots of your time and attention while I grow into an awesome adult dog. Socialization, training (including house training), and exercise are just a few of the things I will look to you for. Chewing, teething, and learning what is Okay and not Okay to put in my mouth are all part of the puppy experience. And, be prepared for the time and money for frequent trips to the vet during the first few months so I can get up to date on my boosters and vaccines. But most of all, be prepared for all of the LOVE, puppy kisses, and joy I will bring into your life. If you are up for the challenge and the fun, stop in and meet my cute self in person during our adoption hours. For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you. Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives.
