Meet Selena! Possible Breed: Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix DOB: 5/18/24 Selena is a gentle, affectionate young pup who’s ready to find her forever home. She’s a quiet and well-behaved girl who loves to snuggle but also enjoys playtime and daily walks. Selena is very smart and gets along well with other dogs, making her a wonderful companion for both people and pets. Since being rescued from a dangerous situation, Selena has blossomed in her foster home. She loves toys, adores her crate as her safe spot, and has recently discovered the joy of curling up on the couch. When she’s not zooming around the yard, she’ll often stop by to give her foster mom sweet hand kisses — she’s truly a little lovebug. Selena would thrive in a calmer home environment and would do best with no children or with kids over the age of 12. A privacy fence is recommended for all her speedy zoomies! She’ll need a little time to adjust to her new home, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines through. Meet Warren! Warren is a retriever mix who was adopted from us and returned in Oct 2024. He does have allergies that are well managed with specific food and medication at this time. Warren is brushing up on his basic obedience with the help of Ryan K9 and is doing great. We love to help our dogs put their best paw forward for a better chance to succeed in a home. Warren is extremely playful, so we are recommending older children that he can’t topple over on accident. He can be dog selective, no cats and would be happiest in a home who can play with him and take him for walks.

Waffles is a 7-month-old Husky/Terrier mix weighing about 27 lbs — and he’s just as sweet as his name suggests! This handsome boy is full of energy and joy, and he’s looking for an active family who can keep up with his playful spirit. Waffles loves to play with other dogs and would thrive with a canine buddy. He hasn’t been tested with cats. He’s also great with kids, though he’s still working on keeping all four paws on the ground when he gets excited (we redirect him with an “off” and help guide his legs down). He’s crate-trained — he sleeps through the night in his crate (from about 10:30 pm to 6 am) and settles nicely when left alone. Potty training is still a work in progress, but with consistency and patience, he’ll catch on quickly. Walks are one of Waffles’ favorite things! He’s a strong puller, so a harness helps, and he’d do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can safely burn off his energy. Above all, Waffles loves attention and companionship. He’ll bring a lot of fun, love, and laughter to a family who can give him the activity and training he needs as he grows. This 5–6-month-old black Lab mix currently weighs 33 lbs and GROWING, and he’s every bit the goofy, good-natured “toddler” you’d expect. Goliath is curious about everything and loves to get into a little harmless mischief in the name of fun! He’s a true Lab at heart — happiest when carrying his leash or proudly trotting along on walks, often stopping to find the perfect stick. He walks beautifully on leash with tail-wagging pride and pure joy. Goliath has already learned to sit, is crate-trained, loves a good game of fetch, and never tires of “organizing” (a.k.a. emptying) his toy basket. Despite his size, he’s incredibly gentle, endlessly loving, and, of course, wonderfully GOOFY. This 9-month-old, 30 lb Lab/Terrier mix is equal parts spunky and sweet, and she's on the lookout for her forever family! Mary is a playful pup who absolutely loves romping around with the resident dog in her foster home. She plays hard, wrestles joyfully, and is always up for a game of tug or a shared snuggle. She gets along great with other dogs and would thrive with a playful canine sibling who can match her energy and help her learn the ropes. She's also house-trained and crate-trained, though she does have some crate-related quirks. Mary tends to get protective of her space and isn’t a fan of people approaching her crate unless it’s time to let her out. Outside of the crate, she’s been social, loving, and well-mannered around both adults and kids (ages 10 and up). Mary is still a young pup, so she’s working on her manners—like keeping all four paws on the floor when greeting people and learning not to “surf” the table for snacks. She knows “sit,” comes when called (most of the time!), and is starting to follow her foster brother’s lead in ringing the bells to go outside… though sometimes it’s just a clever way to distract him and sneak a toy. She may bark for a few seconds when new people arrive—but she’s a smart girl, and her foster family is working on building her confidence through training and consistency. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and clever young dog to grow and learn with, Mary could be the perfect match! She’ll do best in a home that’s ready to continue her training, offers some structure, and ideally has a friendly dog to play with.
