If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/genericYou can learn about the adoption process by visiting:  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.  Dog's Name:  Pup Zion (ZIO0224CHEMD)Estimated Breed:  Flat-Coated Retriever MixApproximate Age:  DOB 12/20/2023 Approximate Weight:  25 LBS Currently Living at:  Foster  Adoption Fee:  $500DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Hello, I'm Pup Zion! I arrived, along with my siblings, from a crowded shelter in South Carolina. I am now on the hunt for a home of my own. I'm a very sweet boy who is excellent with all dogs. I love to play but I also have a very laid-back personality. I am extremely affectionate and gentle. I am also doing great with housebreaking. At my young age, I am in my prime for training and socialization too. Please remember that young puppies require a lot of time, love, and patience to become the best doggie citizens they can be. I promise to bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love to your life. Will you be my new family? Submit an application today. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/  .
