Meet Cosmo This adorable guy has the spunk and spirit of a typical pup. His mom was unfortunately run over and he had to have a little help being bottle fed until able to eat on his own. You would not know it by looking at him or in his glowing personality. Cosmo is always up for a romp during playtime. He is also one of the sweetest snugglers. Cosmo has grown to adoption age in the same wonderful household and his foster mom would love to give you all the details on his daily life. Cosmo is well socialized and would do great in a home with or without dogs and/or with or without children. If you are looking for a dedicated family companion, you can’t go wrong with this cutie. Once adopted, Cosmo will transport with Rescue Vet Transport to his new forever family (additional $185).   Meet Kobe, a beautiful young Flat Coat Retriever with a heart as big as his smile. Weighing about 55 pounds and estimated to be around one year old, Kobe is the definition of a happy, loving companion. He was found alone in a rural Tennessee community, and despite extensive efforts, no owner ever came forward. The caring couple who found him wanted more than anything to help, but their frequent travel made it impossible to give Kobe the stability he needed. Thanks to Critter Cavalry Rescue, Kobe was placed straight into foster care instead of being left behind in a rural shelter. Kobe has a personality that lights up every room. Friendly, affectionate, and eager to please, he has the classic temperament of a Flat Coat Retriever — often described as very similar to a Golden Retriever, but with a sparkle all their own. He adores other dogs, loves meeting new people, and greets everyone with a wagging tail, a joyful grin, and his signature move of offering his paw for a handshake. Kobe’s warmth and enthusiasm make him an incredible family dog. Kobe will be neutered on December 13th and microchipped so he will always have a way home if lost again. He is searching for a family that can offer a safely fenced yard, plenty of companionship, and a lifelong commitment to keeping him secure and loved. Kobe would be an excellent fit for a home with children and active people who are excited to share life with a joyful, devoted dog. Indigo is a big-hearted sweetheart with an incredibly loving and gentle soul. She is affectionate, eager to please, and thrives on human connection. With kids, she is especially joyful—she loves greeting them and often shows her excitement with wagging tails, happy body language, and sweet kisses. She grew up around kids and absolutely adores them. Her playful spirit really shines when she’s outside, where she adores running around the yard, chasing balls, and proudly carrying sticks like little treasures. In fact, she does the cutest “gazelle” hops just from pure excitement!  With adults, Indigo does best with slow, calm introductions, though she is certainly curious of new people. New situations and unfamiliar people can sometimes feel overwhelming for her at first, but once she has time to settle in and build trust, she forms deep, loyal bonds and becomes an incredibly devoted companion. She is extremely motivated, responsive, and genuinely wants to make her people happy. Indigo does well greeting other dogs in public settings, though she also needs slow and controlled introductions as well. She would thrive best as the only dog in a household. She enjoys being the center of attention and benefits from having consistent affection and one-on-one time, which allows her to feel secure and confident in her environment. Overall, Indigo is a loving, playful, and loyal dog who has so much affection to give. With patience, understanding, and a calm home, she will reward her future fur-ever family with endless love, joy, and companionship.
