Diane is 24 bs - soft fluffy black coat with white on chest and brindle on her legs. She has the agreeability of a retriever but in a mini size. Diane could live anywhere as long as she can climb in someone's lap. Current Location: Baltimore, MD Hello! I'm Laverne, and I arrived at OPH with my four littermates a couple of weeks ago. All my siblings have been adopted -- when is it going to be my turn?? I'm an adorable 10-week-old puppy and I weigh just 7 pounds, so I'm not going to be a big dog. I am very sweet and friendly and I love people! I love playing but I settle down quickly for naps and snuggles (especially in your lap -- I love laps!). Did you notice the cool markings on my face? My foster mom says I am the cutest fluffy little puppy! I have been to multiple events and birthday parties and I have met many people, including young children, and I am great with everyone I meet! I'm searching for... * someone who won't leave me home alone for more than 4 hrs, at least not until I am older. The older I am the more I can stay home alone. I just don't want you to get mad at me if I have accidents or chew things I'm not supposed to when you leave me for too long. I'm a puppy, so I get bored quick and when I'm bored I could get in trouble. * I am looking for my forever home, not my for right now home. So as I get bigger I need someone to teach me how to be the best dog I can be. I am young and still learning. You may want to teach me some new tricks like sit, stay, etc. Professional training will help me bond with you. That sounds like fun! * I saved the most important for last. I am hoping my new mom or dad will snuggle with me, play with me and love me forever and ever! I'm in search of my new family. Is that with you? Little Bear is a 5-year-old Labrador Retriever/Beagle mix with a mostly black coat and a heart full of love for his people. This sweet boy adores adults and thrives on human companionship. He's affectionate, loves to snuggle, and gets genuinely excited when visitors come to the home. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will make you the center of his world, Little Bear is ready to be your shadow. Little Bear does best in a calm, predictable environment where he can be the main focus. He's housetrained, does well in the yard, and walks decently on leash without pulling. He's treat motivated and enjoys all the pets and attention you can give him. While Little Bear loves people, he's much more selective about canine company. He needs slow, measured introductions with other dogs, as quick meetings can overwhelm him and cause him to cower or retreat. He may tolerate another dog in the home, but he tends to tire of them after a while and would honestly prefer to have his humans all to himself. When encountering dogs on walks, he'll pull on the leash to escape the situation. His ideal home would be with adults only or a family with older, respectful children who understand his need for a peaceful environment. Little Bear is looking for someone who wants a devoted one-on-one relationship with a dog who will give them his whole heart. Requirements: Calm home, adults or older children, ideally the only pet or very careful consideration with other dogs.
