Anyone who meets him falls head over heels for this gentle and silly little goofball. He gets along well with many dogs, especially older and calmer ones who can match his mellow energy level, and he has a blast at daycare with his furry friends. Ace is already house-trained and is currently working on crate training - he's a total champ at overnight crating and is actively making progress with daytime crating.A perfect day for Ace starts with a nice walk (where he loves to say hello to new people with a friendly howl!) and then he spends the rest of the day chilling on the couch with his chew toys and his family. He's highly motivated by food and will do just about anything for a tasty treat, so further training should be a piece of cake. He also thrives on routine, so having a schedule will help him settle into his new environment.Ace is the ultimate companion animal - he feels much more confident and comfortable when he's around his humans so he has some separation anxiety, which is slowly improving in his foster home! Because of this, he would do best with a family that is home more often than not. Additionally, he tends to be vocal when anxious (and even when he's happy and excited - this chatty boy loves to say hello!), Ace is best suited for a single-family home.Ace is a fantastic dog who is eagerly waiting to meet his forever family! Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Mickey tends to play a little rough for other dogs, so would likely do best as an only dog. She’s medium energy and loves to go for walks. She’s not a big runner, but she’s happy to lounge in the yard or right by her person’s side for a snooze. Mickey likes to sit and gives paws for treats!Mickey is fully house trained and while she has crate experience, she’s generally fine to free range when left alone. While smaller kids might be too much for her, Mickey’s great with older children. She takes some time to warm up to new people, but will approach at her own speed to ask for affection. Mickey is ready to start the next, best chapter of her life – is it with you? Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: Unknown, likely noGood with kids: Kids 16+ Crate trained: Working on itHouse trained: YesTango is a sweet, sensitive boy looking for a wonderful furever family where he can focus all his attention on snuggling and giving his humans lots of kisses! This guy loves to stay close to his people and enjoys hopping in the car to feel the wind in his fur. At naptime, his favorite place is a comfy spot on the coach or a soft and fluffy blanket in a sunny corner of the room – as long as his humans are right there with him so he can relax.Tango would do best being the only dog in his new home because having his family’s attention focused solely on him helps him to feel safe and secure. This sweet boy struggles with separation anxiety. He needs an experienced dog owner, or someone that is willing to be patient with him so that he can finally feel safe and comfortable, and settle into his permanent home. This happy boy can be timid in new situations but loves any type of attention, and his tail is always wagging. He’s hoping for his new family to keep up this training.Tango is quiet in his crate for short periods of time during the day, but prefers a dog bed or blanket in his human’s bedroom at night. He also does great with gates when outside the crate; he’s never chewed things or had a house-training accident.Tango would do great in a single-family home with work-from-home (or home frequently) humans who will give him lots of attention and stay active with him. He is looking for either an adult-only home or one with kids 16+. He is eager to please, and always after some affection and a “good boy.” He will be a wonderful companion to a very lucky family! Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted.
