You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Emmett arrived from the city pound on July 12th when his legal hold was finished. He had been found tied to a table at a local park. He's a younger guy, maybe around 2 years old and appears to be a lab mix of some kind. Maybe some hound, shepherd...it's a guessing game. He does have some crazy double dew claws on his hind feet that give him a unique quality. His fee is $150. Emmett is a bit unsure of himself and can be quite shy at first. However he's really quite loving and goofy. We think he has the potential to be a fun companion. He does appear to be okay with other dogs. We don't know about cats at all. We're not sure if he has ever been around young kids. He will require some basic training in all areas and will need regular exercise. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Spinner arrived from the city pound on Sept. 13 when his stray hold expired and no one had claimed him. To say he is exuberant is a gross understatement. He is EXUBERANT! We think he's an approximately 1 year old black lab (mix?) and the puppy is still strong within him. He has been vet checked, neutered, and microchipped and his fee is $150.  Spinner will need a lot of basic training and a whole lot of exercise. He's a fun-loving guy who hasn't quite learned the concept of "chill". He does do well other active dogs of similar size but his energy might be way over the top for cats. Kids? No small kids for this guy, unless you want them to take flight. All kidding aside, Spinner has a heck of a lot of potential. He just needs a good home to harness it and give him the training he deserves and requires. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved.
