Story
Location: Randolph, MN Hi, I'm Nugget, a very sweet but cautious girl. I need a patient and loving family willing to take things slow as I learn to trust my human companions again. I'm great with other dogs, big and small, and simply ignore my feline friends. I am fine with kids, but with my shy nature, I'm not quite ready to be playful with them. I am fully potty trained but not a fan of going outside for too long. I prefer a quick walk to go potty and come right back in the house-ideal for our cold winters. I show my affection by periodically sitting next to you or giving a quick lick of the hand, but I mostly enjoy keeping you company while laying in my nearby dog bed. I love to sleep in my cozy crate all night long with no whining or waking you up. They call me Nugget because I have no tail whatsoever so it's hard to tell when I'm really happy, but the good news is I won't knock over any drinks from the coffee table. I'd be perfect in a multiple dog household, so I can continue learning how to be man's best friend. If you're looking to rescue a deserving dog with a heart of gold, please consider giving this sweet Nugget a chance. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
Location: Rockford, MN Hi! I'm Runner, my foster mom has been calling me Kolsch. I'm a very sweet boy who has come a long way in just a few short months. I'm learning that being part of a loving home is THE BEST! I'm a smart cookie who is very food-motivated and learns quickly. I am house-broken and crate-trained. I haven't met kids yet, but I'm really good with people so I think I'd do well with the little ones. I'm great with other dogs and so far so good with the cat in the house. I love snuggling, napping, dog toys, and playing tug-of-war or fetch. I'm obsessed with belly rubs. My foster parents tell me I'm such a good boy and make such a great family dog. With a little continued TLC, I just know I'll be the bestest boy. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Cynthia is a 6 month old lab mix. She is a very smart girl! Cynthia loves to swim, chew on bones, and to cuddle on the couch. She is a good girl in her kennel, but loves to cuddle in bed with you at night. She is great with dogs, cats, and kids. She is nearly completely potty trained. Her foster family has no idea why she has not been adopted yet, because she is such a good girl! A perfect family for Cynthia would be an active family with some kiddos to grow up with! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Burbank, SD Since you're reading this, you're obviously looking for a new best friend! Hey, so am I and my name is Marley! I don't care how old you are but in case that matters to you, I'm just a cute puppy born on March 14th 2023 and I'll need lots of attention and love. Sometimes I'm a little on the shy side but just need a minute to get to know you. My momma was incredibly lucky to have found this great foster mom who let my mom crash and have me & my 6 siblings. My mom and siblings all have been adopted in June and I sure would like to find a forever home. My foster mom has me kennel trained. She likes to play tug of war, sneaks me treats, play outside, and during TV time she cuddles me like a baby. She thinks I'm super cute when I try to get my ears to stand up strait. I enjoy supervising her garden time and making sure she waters all the flowers and vegetables. I do take time to chase and play with the other dogs that live here and I love the outdoors! The resident kid is the best and she sneak me treats, lets me play softball and play on the trampoline. My perfect match would be someone who will be patient with me and teach me all the doggie things. When I'm not admiring your every move, I'd love to be playing with children. So, what do you say? Wanna be besties? --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Plymouth, MN Ruff Ruff (Mr. Ruff) would be an ideal first time dog for someone who wants the basics already mastered - potty trained, kennel trained, sleeping through the night, loose leash walking, come/sit/stay/leave-it, easily redirected, and stays close by when off-leash. His temperament is sweet, happy, and cuddly. He had temporary fosters who would welcome him back in a heartbeat since he was so easy and acclimated well. He would be a great dog on his own or in a house with another dog if given the proper slow introductions and time to establish boundaries. He has experience living with another dog and has met/played well with the neighbor dogs. Ruff is content playing by himself or with other dogs. He especially loves fetch and walks. He isn't a fan of sharing toys and food with other dogs so those are provided separately in his kennel. He does not mind humans being near toys or food. The only reason I'm not adopting him myself is so I can continue to foster. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Gizmo, a 1 year old Lab X, a little man with a BIG personality and a heart full of love. This adorable pup has earned himself several affectionate nicknames, including 'Mo', 'G', and 'G-man', all stemming from his original name, Gizmo. Giz man's unique blend of charm and determination makes him an absolute delight to be around. G gets along famously with other dogs and knows how to hold his ground when necessary. He's a real softie at heart, especially when it comes to snuggling up in cozy blankets, which he loves to messily rearrange to create the perfect resting spot. He even believes he's a pro bed-maker and is always ready to lend a helping paw! When it comes to playtime, G's energy and curiosity come to life. He's an avid chewer, so soft stuffed animals are a no-go, but he's all about hard chew toys that keep him entertained. He may not be a fan of water, avoiding the family pool and lakes, but he takes full advantage of sunny days to relax and explore the yard, sniffing to his heart's content. G is no stranger to adventure, enjoying car rides from short trips to the barn to long journeys all the way to Florida. He's a smart boy who knows his basic commands and walks well on a leash after a brief initial pulling phase. However, his stubborn streak may show itself from time to time, but it only adds to his endearing personality. This playful guy has a keen sense of hearing, which makes him attentive to every sound, though he's selective with his barks. He might make a great hunting partner? G loves the thrill of the chase and can't resist going after birds, squirrels, and rabbits in the yard. He's also fascinated by frogs and toads, often thinking they'd make for a tasty snack if given the chance! Yuck! While he may coexist with a cat, G-Mo has to be kept separate due to his natural instinct to chase when the cat runs. However, when it comes to people, he's a sweet and friendly companion, albeit a little shy initially. But that shyness quickly fades away, especially if treats are involved. This wonderful boy is up-to-date with vaccinations, neutered and chipped, ensuring he stays healthy and happy. If you're looking for a four-legged friend to bring love and laughter into your life, G-Man might be the perfect addition to your family. With his loving nature and mischievous charm, he's sure to win your heart in no time!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 4, 2023, 12:35 pm

Story
"Z" is a sweetheart to humans, lap dog, loving to snuggle & tuck his head in anywhere. We adopted him last year without knowledge of his background other than he is from Alabama. We suspect he had some trauma, as he is fearful of any noises -jumps & runs away. He also has some scars. Our other dog is a grumpy, senior Shitzu that avoids him. My son's pitty plays with him regularly, they get along fine. He has recently shown aggressive behavior toward other dogs, but we strongly feel he was in defense mode both times. The 1st was defense of one of his humans, with the other dog hurt. 2nd was defense of his pitbull pal, & a human got hurt by one of the 3. I don't want him euthanized over this, my heart hurts at the idea. He'd do great with someone who can dedicate snuggle time every day & lives a quieter life than our home. I think he needs a fenced-in yard with someone that has knowledge to help him work thru his trauma. Vetted and shots Aug 2023 & I will include his Simperica Trio.
