Hi, my name is Shortbread (or Shorty) and I am the last pup from Cookie’s “Snack Pack” litter! I just know the perfect home is out there for me! I was the biggest out of my litter. I went to the vet and they told me I am 66 pounds now! Probably because I love a good treat. New things can be scary for me at first, but with patience I adjust very well. I love all of my toys and really love playing outside! In the afternoons I enjoy chewing on a stick while sunbathing. I love to play with my foster siblings. I've worked really hard to understand my smaller foster sibling and take cues when he is done with playtime. I've also learned about walks and runs too. I go with my foster dad for a run everyday and I LOVE it!! I also love just laying on the couch with you at the end of a long day. ADOPTION FEE: $300 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 7/22/2024 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Yes CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes - 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $300 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. Kobe is a 6-year-old Black Lab and Great Pyrenees mix with a calm, sweet personality and a big heart. He was raised in a loving home and has grown up around dogs, cats, and children. He does great with all of them. Kobe enjoys walks, playing with toys, and being part of the family. Hes house trained and knows basic commands like sit and come here. Kobe is blind in his left eye due to a condition called blastomycosis, but hes under regular vet care and doing very well. He takes daily eye drops and has no pain. He isnt neutered. He also has a large wart on his side that doesnt bother him. Hes currently eating Blue Buffalo large breed food twice a day and has no dietary restrictions. Were looking for a home that will give Kobe the love, attention, and consistency hes used to. He thrives in a calm environment but does get nervous during fireworks or loud thunderstorms.

Biscuit is a wonderful full bred yellow lab. He’s full of energy and love. He loves people and other dogs. My kids have grown and I work 70 plus hours a week. It’s not fair to him and I want him to have a home where he has people to be with. If you like a dog to snuggle at your feet in bed, biscuit is your boy. I’m asking a small rehoming fee to make sure he goes to someone that will take care of him.

My family and I are saddened to say we are very busy with owning a company and myself going back to work full time. We have five children as well and stay busy with their schooling and sports activities, that we do not give Daisy the attention she needs and deserves. Our children love and adore her but have finally accepted that it is best she finds a family who have time for her and a large yard to run in. She loves to play fetch, loves all dog toys especially balls, and loves her belly rubbed.

She is a sweet dog. Pee pad trained so far. Training her to go outside to use the bathroom. Needs trained to not jump on people. Does know to "sit" and be calmer. Trying to crate train. Does ok on a leash. Does not do well with cats due to playing too rough with them. Would possibly do well with older children. Is not spayed yet. Needs lots of activity and a fenced in yard.
