As a rescue , We do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter Meet Athena! Athena is a sweet fluffy girl who is around 12 weeks old. She weighs 18#s and super sweet! She does have something wrong with her rear leg, she’s been to the vet for x rays and it’s an old break, it’s starting to fuse, she will put weight on occasionally but usually doesn’t. The vet recommended a wait and see approach, at her age she may use it more as it heals more or it could require amputation, we can do that here prior to adoption. She doesn’t let it slow her down at all.

Penny prefers the simple things—lounging outside while you garden, soaking up the sunshine, and taking leisurely walks where she can stop and smell every flower along the way. She isn’t interested in toys or high-energy play; she’s happiest just being near her people. She does well with calm, larger dogs but would also be perfectly content as your one-and-only companion. Penny has a strong prey drive, so she will need a home without small animals (including cats, small dogs, or rabbits). Currently living with a 7-year-old child, Penny adores kids! Because she doesn’t always realize her size, a home with children 5 and older would be the best fit. She has been living in a warm loving home for the past 2 years until no fought of her own she needed to find a new forever. She does well with kids but is also still scared of loud noises and fast actions so kids 6 years and older is a must. Snowball does well on a leash and loves to go out and explore. A fenced in yard would be a plus for her but is not required. She is potty trained and doesn't mind spending time in her crate. She has chronic dry eyes so she will need two eye medications for the rest of her life. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines and ready to find a home to live out the rest of her years.
