He isn’t as fluffy but this boy is the most playful!

As a Rescue do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. Meet Athena! Athena is a sweet fluffy girl who is around 12 weeks old. She weighs 18#s and super sweet! She does have something wrong with her rear leg, she’s been to the vet for x rays and it’s an old break, it’s starting to fuse, she will put weight on occasionally but usually doesn’t. The vet recommended a wait and see approach, at her age she may use it more as it heals more or it could require amputation, we can do that here prior to adoption. She doesn’t let it slow her down at all.

Their humans let them down 💔. She’s around 4 months old, she is a playful girl, loves playing with her toys and she has unlimited love to give, she would love a home of her own!!
