Ruger has been through a lot, but you’d never know it from his happy spirit! This sweet boy came to us after being hit by a car and injuring his front left leg (multiple fractures of the midshaft). His leg has since been stabilized and splinted, and he’s healing with lots of love and care. He also carries some old scars down his back, but they don’t hold him back one bit - if anything, they show just how resilient he is.Despite everything, Ruger is as friendly and affectionate as they come. He gets so excited when he sees someone stop by his kennel and loves soaking up attention and pets. He’s also very treat motivated, sits politely on command, and takes his treats gently from your hand. While he’s still on the mend, Ruger’s playful side is already shining through. He perks up at the sound of squeaky toys and is eager to play.Ruger is the perfect mix of sweet, brave, and fun. All he needs now is a loving home where he can finish healing and get the second chance he so deserves.

Hello, my name is Nixxy. You must see my beautiful black shiny coat in person! I am an energetic girl who loves to play with my foster fur siblings but I really love my humans. I prefer to be a lap dog but my foster mom keeps telling me I am too big. She still lets me sit on her lap, though.. I will do best in a home with a yard. I am in a home with both dogs and cats and I do great with both as long as they like to play. My adoption fee is $200. .  It includes all my vaccines, spay/neuter, and microchip. While he might bark at new faces visiting the house, he comes around quickly once properly introduced. Once comfortable, his true personality shines: he's incredibly goofy, playful, and will follow his trusted people anywhere! He has even advanced to letting strangers pet him while out on walks or in dog-friendly stores.Oatmeal thrives with a canine companion. He is wonderfully dog friendly and does best when he has a four-legged pal to help him be brave. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Smart Boy who Loves People!Oliver is a wonderfully well-behaved Lab/Australian Kelpie Mix (best we can tell) who is approximately 1-1/2 years old. He has been with us for a few weeks now and we have discovered he is housetrained and have not had any problems with him chewing on anything or even climbing on the furniture.  He gets along fine with other dogs and absolutely LOVES people! He likes chewing on bones.  He is not food or toy-aggressive and tries to copy our personal dog carrying around toys.  Oliver will go in a crate but we have not left him in one for over 30 minutes at a time. Oliver was shy at first but now is so friendly.  He will nudge your hand so you will pet him.  He is so very excited to see you when you come home and wags up a storm!  He just LOVES PEOPLE!
