Chester is a 4-year-old Flat-Coated Retriever with a heart as soft as his fluffy coat. He came to us as a stray alongside two other dogs. While we don’t know much about his past, his gentle nature tells us he’s ready to start a loving new chapter. This sweet boy is a dream on a leash—easy to harness up and walks right by your side without pulling. He enjoys a good sniff-around in the yard but is just as happy to quietly hang out next to you, soaking up all the pets you’re willing to give. In fact, if you sit with him, he’ll lay calmly by your side for as long as you`ll let him. He`s a low-energy, go-with-the-flow kind of guy. Chester is polite and well-mannered, especially when it comes to treats—he takes them gently and with those soulful eyes, it`s hard to resist giving him a few extra. He seems to know how to sit on command, although he gets so close when he does it it’s hard to snap a proper photo! He is very friendly, calm and good on trips, loves to be running in the park and lay down in the grass for so long. Good on long walks.

Mike is 8 years young and fully grown. He also goes by Mike-e. Even with his gray facial features he is active and young at heart. He is crate and house trained. Oatmeal, a handsome Husky, is blossoming into a confident and affectionate companion after a journey of overcoming his initial fears.
