Oatmeal, a handsome Husky, is blossoming into a confident and affectionate companion after a journey of overcoming his initial fears. This resilient boy has made incredible strides, transforming from a pup wary of men in public to one who now enjoys outings to dog-friendly stores and enthusiastically greets new people. Oatmeal also loves playing with other dogs. While Oatmeal's home is still his safe haven where he can be a bit more vocal and protective, his progress in trusting humans is truly heartwarming. He's actively seeking out affection from his foster family, a testament to the love and patience he's received.Oatmeal has also begun his learning journey with kennel training and leash walking classes. His early experiences made it challenging for him to look to people for guidance, but with time and gentle encouragement, he's now starting to understand the joys of being part of a loving home. This sweet boy is ready to find his forever family who will continue to nurture his blossoming confidence and appreciate the incredible progress he's made. Story
Hi, I’m Idgie!I’m a sweet and lovable 1.5-year-old Labrador Retriever with a heart full of cuddles and tail wags. I absolutely adore being around my humans and showing them just how much I love them.I’m fully housebroken and kennel trained, and while I’m still working on perfecting my manners, I’m eager to learn and always try my best. Did I mention, I can sit in command already?! I’m looking for a family who will be patient with me as I continue to perfect my manners —someone who understands all the wonderful (and wiggly) lab traits that come with my high energy and playful spirit!I love to splash around in my water bowl to cool off after playing outside—it’s my favorite way to beat the heat. I just discovered how awesome toys are, and now I carry one around with me everywhere I go! I get along great with my foster brother and sister and do well with other doggy friends. I also love car rides and walk like a champ on a leash. My foster mom says I have special angel kisses on my ears—little reddish-brown markings that make me extra unique and even more lovable.*Idgie is Heartworm positive. Foster to adopt is an option for her! Our rescue covers all medical bills until finished with heartworm treatment. Please visit our site at https://www.jennisrescueranch.org/ for more information on how to adopt. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Smart Boy who Loves People!Oliver is a wonderfully well-behaved Lab/Australian Kelpie Mix (best we can tell) who is approximately 1-1/2 years old. He has been with us for a few weeks now and we have discovered he is housetrained and have not had any problems with him chewing on anything or even climbing on the furniture.  He gets along fine with other dogs and absolutely LOVES people! He likes chewing on bones.  He is not food or toy-aggressive and tries to copy our personal dog carrying around toys.  Oliver will go in a crate but we have not left him in one for over 30 minutes at a time. Oliver was shy at first but now is so friendly.  He will nudge your hand so you will pet him.  He is so very excited to see you when you come home and wags up a storm!  He just LOVES PEOPLE! Oliver is currently working on basic commands and leash walking.  He is truly a smart boy and a quick learner.  Oliver will bring a great deal of happiness to someone who chooses him.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 25, 2024, 3:51 pm
