✨ Meet Champ — A Big, Scruffy Love with Couch Dreams ✨ Champ is a 70-pound, cream-colored, wiry-haired dreamboat with soulful eyes, scruffy good looks, and the softest heart. Around 2–3 years old, he looks like a delightful mystery mix — maybe Great Pyrenees, maybe Irish Wolfhound, definitely 100% good boy. Champ takes his treats very seriously (respectfully, gently, and with full focus). Once he feels safe, he’ll place his paws in your lap, lean in for affection, and quietly ask for love. Outside the shelter, his sweet, playful personality truly shines. When Champ first arrived, the world felt overwhelming — but this brave boy has made incredible progress. He now enjoys walks and continues to build confidence every day. Loud noises can still be a little scary, so he’d do best in a calmer home where life moves at a gentler pace. 💛 Why we adore Champ: ✔️ Gentle, affectionate, and eager to bond ✔️ Very treat-motivated and fun to train ✔️ Enjoys walks and keeps gaining confidence ✔️ Likes walking alongside another dog ✔️ May prefer being your one-and-only at home ✔️ Would thrive with a fenced yard to stretch his legs ✔️ Firm believer that couches are meant for snuggles Champ is searching for a patient, loving home where he can finally exhale, keep growing, and settle into life as someone’s cherished companion.
