Story
Wally is a sweet 3 year old Flat Coat retriever mix, on the smaller side. He was thriving in his country home where he loved to patrol and guard the fence line for squirrels, deer and other critters. We moved recently to be closer to our grandchildren to a populated development that only allows short open fences. Our little protective patrol dog is so stressed and not adjusting to multiple large dogs on both sides of us. We can only take him out for bathroom breaks on a leash whenever the other dogs aren’t out. He is not getting the exercise he needs and loves. With heavy hearts we must do what’s best for him, and find him a home with an environment that better fits his needs. Wally is a great indoor dog, housebroken, affectionate, playful and a couch potato. He is smart, knows basic commands and has a lot of energy. He loves playing with his people, and his toys. Wally currently lives with 2 senior dogs, but would do well as an only pet in a family with experienced dog owners and ol

Story
I answered no to good with other dogs, but if he is around them enough he will get use to them. He is fine with my sons smaller dogs and my sister has a medium do that he is good with. He will need a fenced in back yard or will ne to be on a leash. Samson is very well behaved and very well house trained. Does not chew on anything but his bones and toys. He is very good with kids and visitors. I stay too busy to give me the attention he deserves. We I am away with work he stays at the Holiday Barn and they all love him. I just want him to have a good home, he has been thru a lot and he is very much loved. I got him from a family member and our border collie at the time was 14 years old she could not tolerate his playfulness. I gave him to a friend when he was 1 year old and fully house trained. My friend past away about 3 years after having Samson so the family asked me to take him back. Samson has been with me since that time. He is 7 years old and still full of life.
