Meet Leo 🦁 ; A True Leo with a Heart of Gold Born on August 4, 2025, Leo truly lives up to his name - confident, loving, and full of life. He’s a unique Lab Retriever mix with touches of Poodle, German Shepherd, Pit Bull, and more. Leo is energetic, affectionate, and loves playing fetch. He gets along great with other dogs- especially my mini Labradoodle - and enjoys bath time (just not the ear blow dryer!). Rescued from a mill, Leo has some mild separation anxiety, but he’s incredibly loyal and thrives with patience and consistency. I am rehoming him only because my schedule no longer allows me to give both my dogs the attention they deserve. I’m looking for a loving, patient, and attentive family ready to give Leo the happy forever home he deserves. He will fill your days with joy, loyalty, and love. 💛🐾

Story
What’s not to love about Idgie? This gorgeous Black Lab/Beagle mix puppy has every lovable trait from both sides of her family tree—intelligence, sweetness, loyalty, curiosity, and a whole lot of heart. At 4 months old and 20 pounds, she’s on track to become a perfect medium-size companion of 40–45 pounds full grown.  Idgie didn’t start life in the best circumstances. She and her siblings lived in a sad, dirty situation until stepping into safety on 11/16. But that’s behind her now—Idgie has traded a tough beginning for a future filled with love, snuggles, and hope. In her foster home, she’s surrounded by kind, gentle kids who shower her with affection. She revels in every hug, every cuddle, every moment of warmth she’s finally getting to experience. She has four siblings also searching for forever homes, and together they’re proving just how resilient, bright, and eager to bond they are. These puppies are little learning machines—curious, smart, and ready to soak up every lesson their new families want to teach. Idgie’s shiny black coat and soft Beagle ears aren’t just adorable—they frame the sweetest puppy face you’ll ever meet. She’s a survivor with a gentle spirit, a loving nature, and a spark of Beagle adventure that makes life with her fun and full of possibilities. Whether you’re dreaming of a holiday season filled with puppy snuggles, sweet gazes, and joyful energy… or simply looking for a loyal companion to grow up with your family… Idgie is ready to be your girl. She has so much love to give, and she’s waiting for a family who will cherish her forever.  If you think Idgie belongs in your home, contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 20, 2025, 11:20 pm

Story
Meet Riggs – The Energetic, Loyal, Gorgeous Chocolate Retriever mix boy!  Riggs is a Chocolate Retriever mix that is barely a year old, just under 50 lbs, and ready to find his forever family. He didn’t have the best start since he was originally dumped at the Agriculture School in Nashville, TN and left to run scared through traffic on a hot day. Thankfully, a kind foster mom earned his trust, and now Riggs is thriving in foster care and looking for the home he truly deserves &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143.   This boy is full of energy and a twinkle in his eye when he tries to find a good rumble play partner in the backyard.   This boy is a handsome male that is begging to be taught all the good manners in life.  Some boundaries created and training sessions that will polish him into the smart and enviable companion that he has the potential to be. Riggs will be a fun project to take under wing.  He already has the important skills of walking well on a leash and being able to get along at a dog park.  Here are the stats on Riggs and all the good things about him.   &#226&#156&#168 About Riggs: Young, ~1 year old, ~50 lbs Chocolate Retriever mix with a shiny coat + toffee-colored eyes and a feathery tail Sweet, affectionate, and full of enthusiasm Best for a family with older kids (he’s loving but sometimes a little too bouncy) Thrives with lots of exercise — daily walks, hikes, dog park trips, or an active playmate Would love another high-energy dog in the home, but he’s also perfect for an outdoorsy person who wants a loyal sidekick A total water dog — creeks, showers, and even water bowls are his jam Great on leash, house-trained, learning crate manners, and knows “sit” Can be a chatty guard dog — he’ll tell you about his day, announce visitors, and let you know when packages arrive His deep bark might sound intimidating, but behind it is a goofy, loyal companion Riggs is past the destructive puppy stage but still learning manners—he jumps when excited and has plenty of young-dog energy. Once he’s had his exercise, though, he’s a calm, sweet couch buddy who loves nothing more than Netflix snuggles. Fostered near Nashville, TN but transport to the Northeast is available every weekend.   To Apply: Text us at 615-661-5333 Email ccrtennessee@gmail.com or ccrnewengland@gmail.com  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED Please share to help Riggs find his active forever family! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption. Story
&#226&#156&#168 Meet Jasper – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Perfect Home &#226&#156&#168 Handsome, happy, and oh-so-lovable, Jasper is a 2 ½-year-old Goldendoodle (born 1/25/22) who weighs about 50 pounds. Raised from a puppy by his current family, Jasper has been deeply loved, but as life has grown busier and noisier around him, he’s shown us that what he truly craves is peace, calm, and a more serene environment. Jasper is a wonderful boy who loves the simple joys of life—long walks on leash, fun play sessions at the dog park, and spending time with his people. He’s great with other dogs, both at home and out in social settings, and would likely thrive with a friendly canine companion to share his days with.   What Jasper needs most is a quieter household, ideally an adult home or one with older teens, where he can relax without constant sudden noises or stress. Inside, he’s housetrained, well-mannered, and happiest in a calm space where he can simply enjoy being with his humans. Outside, he’s active, playful, and always ready for a little adventure. Jasper is already an exceptional dog—he just needs the right home to let his gentle, loving nature shine.   If you think you can give Jasper the peaceful life he deserves, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. He’s ready to become someone’s loyal, loving best friend.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 15, 2025, 8:28 pm
