Story
Memphis was adopted March 2022 from the SPCA in Largo Fl at age 2. She had just been spayed prior to adoption. She barks when she sees other animals out the front window or when she is out in the backyard, although we’ve never had another pet in our house since we adopted her. She loves being outdoors laying in the sun & rolling in the grass or dirt, belly rubs, her dog treats, and going on walks. She loves to sleep up on beds. She will run zoomies around the backyard every chance she gets. Ideally, in a new home, she would be the only pet, or live with a puppy, would have a large backyard, or at least a fenced in backyard that she could lay out in the fresh air, and run around as often as able. She eats well and loves to sit, trying to get handouts when the humans are eating..She’s very alert to weather changes, & is a good guard dog.

I'm Todd, a handsome 7-year-old English Foxhound with a striking fawn and white coat 🐕. At 60 pounds, I'm a solid, dignified fellow who thrives best as your one and only dog — I'd do best in a single dog home where I can get all the attention I deserve. I'm a special needs boy who uses a wheelchair, but that doesn't stop me from being a wonderful companion 💪. My adoption fee is $500, and I'm ready to find someone who'll give me the loving home I need ❤️.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.ADOPTION PENDINGFable is a loyal, loving dog who was surrendered by her owner to the shelter and was so anxious we just had to rescue her. She probably has a little beagle in her, but she definitely has a lot of affection and cuddles to give. She does not have the wanderlust that many beagles do, and would rather be with her people. When her humans are ready to go inside, she is right there with them. She can be a little cautious with new people and new places in the beginning. Fable has done really well with housetraining and crating. She is fine being crated for up to 8 hours. Her energy level is moderate and although Fable had not previously shown interest in toys she has now become very attached to a stuffed Hedgehog. She has no interest in squirrels or rabbits. She does like her food and at meal times will do the cutest little ballerina spin before she sits for her dish. Fable is heartworm positive but has already been treated and her recovery is going very well. She is available for a sleepover.
