This gentle soul may be shy when you first meet him, but beneath that cautious exterior is a dog with an enormous heart just waiting to love his person. Max takes a little time to build trust, but once he knows he's safe and loved, his bond is incredibly special. He is the kind of dog who will quietly become your most loyal companion, offering a depth of love that is truly unmatched. This handsome boy is potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children. One of Max's favorite pastimes is wading around in the river, where he can relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Max is looking for a patient, understanding family who will give him the time he needs to come out of his shell.
