WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Max! Max is a 4-year-old American Foxhound/German Shepherd mix weighing in at about 45 pounds of pure sweetness. This gentle soul may be shy when you first meet him, but beneath that cautious exterior is a dog with an enormous heart just waiting to love his person. Max takes a little time to build trust, but once he knows he's safe and loved, his bond is incredibly special. He is the kind of dog who will quietly become your most loyal companion, offering a depth of love that is truly unmatched. This handsome boy is potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children. One of Max's favorite pastimes is wading around in the river, where he can relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Max is looking for a patient, understanding family who will give him the time he needs to come out of his shell. In return, you'll gain a devoted best friend whose love is worth every moment of waiting. If you're searching for a gentle, loyal companion with a sweet spirit and a heart of gold, Max may be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
This delightful tricolor bundle of joy is about 2.5 years old and radiating happiness since being rescued after her family left her and her brother behind. Missy might be a bit bashful at first and may need a little time to come out of her shell, but once she does, you’ll have a loyal buddy for life. Missy does have some some social anxiety and needs a slow intoduction with new dogs, but she loves people of all ages. Missy's warm, expressive eyes and wagging tail tell a story of resilience and hope. She is up to date on all her vaccines, spayed, and on a monthly heartworm preventive. If you’re interested in giving Missy the home she deserves, get ready for a lifetime of joy and loyalty from this sweet girl. Unless otherwise noted, dogs with Last Chance Arkansas are cared for in foster homes throughout Arkansas and can be transported to other states if needed. Please note that an additional fee will apply if a transport company is used for out-of-state adoptions.

Male | Born April 17 | Suspected Hound/Pit Mix T-Bone is the easygoing gentleman of the litter. While he enjoys playing with his siblings and joining in on group adventures, he is just as happy entertaining himself with a toy or quietly observing the chaos around him. His balanced personality makes him adaptable, thoughtful, and easy to love. Raised as a bottle baby since one week old, he has developed a strong bond with people and enjoys affection without being overly demanding. He is currently working on potty pad training and will soon begin learning outdoor potty routines.

He’s the type of puppy who can happily wrestle with his littermates one minute and settle into your lap the next.
