Story
Meet Annie! Annie is a shy lady searching for a special family. She is a self-proclaimed `homebody` and is looking for adopters who will embrace that. She is a sensitive soul who can take a bit to settle in and open up, but once she is comfortable, she loves finding a comfortable spot on the couch to cuddle up to her favorite humans or to settle with a kong. Don`t let her age fool you--she still has energy and is accustomed to long, leisurely strolls where she can sniff to her heart`s content. Annie has some medical needs that will require a close relationship with a vet. Annie says no thank you to living with dogs but may potentially be able to live with a very dog-savvy cat after careful introductions. Come into the shelter to start the matchmaking process if this old gal sounds like your cup of tea!

Story
I'm Teeka, a 45-pound, 2-year-old mix -- maybe some hound, maybe some Lab, but delightful all around! I was a shelter favorite in Texas because of my calm, easy-going personality. When I went into a foster home, I quickly showed myself to be a wonderful companion dog: I'm affectionate, housetrained, and easy to live with -- the perfect mix of playful and laid back. I get along great with other dogs of all sizes, I walk well on a leash, and I love to play fetch and to spend time with my people. I'm also good with kids and even babies. My rescuer in Texas noted, "The thing everyone says about Teeka is that pictures just don't do her justice. She's one of those dogs you meet once and immediately steals your heart." Come meet me and see for yourself! Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and we will get right back to you.

Story
Chompers Male | Born April 17 | Suspected Hound/Pit Mix Chompers is the self-appointed leader of the DeSoto Litter and is always ready to get the party started. If there is wrestling to be done, toys to steal, or siblings to convince into a game of chase, Chompers is leading the charge. Confident, outgoing, and full of puppy curiosity, he approaches every day like it’s an adventure waiting to happen. Despite his rough-and-tumble reputation, he’s still a baby at heart and loves curling up for a nap after a busy play session. Chompers has been bottle-raised since he was just one week old and has grown into a happy, social puppy who adores attention from people. He is currently working on potty pad training and will begin learning outdoor potty habits soon.

Story
Male | Born April 17 | Suspected Hound/Pit Mix Ruckus may be the smallest boy in the litter, but nobody bothered to tell him that. This fearless little explorer is convinced the world was made just for him to investigate. Whether he’s climbing over blankets, checking out a new toy, or wandering off to see what’s happening across the room, Ruckus is always on a mission. His adventurous spirit is balanced by a sweet, affectionate side that loves being scooped up and cuddled after a long day of exploration. Bottle-fed since one week old, Ruckus is people-oriented, confident, and eager to experience everything life has to offer. He is currently working hard on potty pad training and will soon begin learning outdoor potty routines.

Story
Male | Born April 17 | Suspected Hound/Pit Mix T-Bone is the easygoing gentleman of the litter. While he enjoys playing with his siblings and joining in on group adventures, he is just as happy entertaining himself with a toy or quietly observing the chaos around him. His balanced personality makes him adaptable, thoughtful, and easy to love. T-Bone tends to approach new situations with calm curiosity rather than charging in headfirst, giving him a mature vibe that’s impressive for such a young puppy. Raised as a bottle baby since one week old, he has developed a strong bond with people and enjoys affection without being overly demanding. He is currently working on potty pad training and will soon begin learning outdoor potty routines.
