Rusty came to us from rural North Carolina where he was found stray. He's a nice hound who makes friends easily. Rusty has a sweet disposition and was apparently someone's pet. He's housebroken, does well in a crate and knows some commands like 'sit' and 'paw'. He loves to play with his toys and enjoys attention from new people. Rusty can be an escape artist and will need secure leashing and a secure fenced yard. He has plenty of energy and enjoys his outings Vets have estimated Rusty's age between 2 and 6 and he weighs about 55 lbs.Rusty has arrived and is available for visits in the Boston area. Once we review your application one of our Adoption Counselors will be in touch to review it with you. Tulip is a sweet, jumpy, joyful 7-month old tripod who doesn`t lether mobility challenges get in her way! She loves going on walks andplaying with her dog friends at the shelter, greeting new people, andsettling in with a good chew toy. As a happy, bouncy, wiggly pup that loves to play, Tulip will make a greatcompanion for an active family. She has enjoyed wrestling with other dogshere at the shelter, so we think she may do well with a canine sibling thatlikes to romp and play as much as she does. Especially an adolescent ormore mature dog that can match her play energy outside, but then help hersettle once back inside. Tulip is an eager learner is looking for a patient owner to help her masterpolite greetings, leash skills, and puppy basicstraining together willbe a fun and rewarding journey!
