Story
Jack is a super cute and snuggly boy who is looking for a home of his own! He came to us from a southern shelter so we don`t much about his history, but he has been making lots of friends since he came to us. He has been through a lot of transitions in his short life and can be a little overwhelmed in new situations so he is looking for a family who can help teach him about the world in a safe and fun way. Jack could likely live with another social dog friend who can help show him the ropes.

Story
Meet Annie! Annie is a shy lady searching for a special family. She is a self-proclaimed `homebody` and is looking for adopters who will embrace that. She is a sensitive soul who can take a bit to settle in and open up, but once she is comfortable, she loves finding a comfortable spot on the couch to cuddle up to her favorite humans or to settle with a kong. Don`t let her age fool you--she still has energy and is accustomed to long, leisurely strolls where she can sniff to her heart`s content. Annie has some medical needs that will require a close relationship with a vet. Annie says no thank you to living with dogs but may potentially be able to live with a very dog-savvy cat after careful introductions. Come into the shelter to start the matchmaking process if this old gal sounds like your cup of tea!

Story
Rita is a sweet and petite foxhound who was found dumped without a collar. A good samaritan took her in to keep her from the county shelter system, and now she's in the care of an NECR foster in Virginia. Rita is about a year old and weighs about 36 lbs. She's affectionate and playful, loved her bath and car ride, and we think she'll be a great pet. Rita will arrive in early August. Story
Meet Bingo, a handsome young pup who may still be growing into his paws, but he's already proven just how resilient he is.Bingo's story began with heartbreak. Abandoned in a backyard with no one to care for him, this resourceful little guy refused to give up. Determined to find a better future, he literally dug his way to freedom—only to end up at a local shelter. Thankfully, before he could become just another face in the system, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan stepped in and brought him to the safety of an animal hospital, where he waited patiently for a rescue to take him until PAWS New England said "yes!"Whoever left Bingo behind will never know the incredible dog they gave up. Their loss is someone else's once-in-a-lifetime best friend. He is everything a puppy should be—happy, goofy, playful, affectionate, and always ready to make you smile. His biggest dilemma each day is deciding whether to chase a toy or roll over for belly rubs first. Bingo adores people, is eager to make new friends, and is growing like a weed! While his breed mix is anyone's guess, one thing is certain—he's going to be a big boy with an even bigger heart.Bingo is searching for a loving, patient family that will never let him wonder where he belongs again. In return, he'll fill your days with puppy kisses, endless laughter, unwavering loyalty, and a lifetime of unconditional love.Name: BingoBreed: Foxhound/American Bulldog   (Breed Mix is not guarantee - no DNA testing has been done)Sex: MaleAge: 25 weeksWeight: 36.0Spayed/Neutered: YesdVaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Story
I'm Teeka, a 45-pound, 2-year-old mix -- maybe some hound, maybe some Lab, but delightful all around! I was a shelter favorite in Texas because of my calm, easy-going personality. When I went into a foster home, I quickly showed myself to be a wonderful companion dog: I'm affectionate, housetrained, and easy to live with -- the perfect mix of playful and laid back. I get along great with other dogs of all sizes, I walk well on a leash, and I love to play fetch and to spend time with my people. I'm also good with kids and even babies. My rescuer in Texas noted, "The thing everyone says about Teeka is that pictures just don't do her justice. She's one of those dogs you meet once and immediately steals your heart." Come meet me and see for yourself! Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and we will get right back to you.

Female | Born April 17 | Suspected Hound/Pit Mix The only girl in the DeSoto Litter, Filet has made it very clear that she can hold her own with her brothers. Spunky, confident, and full of opinions, she isn’t shy about letting everyone know when she wants attention—or when she thinks cuddle time should start immediately. Filet is the most demanding when it comes to affection and would happily volunteer to be carried around all day if given the opportunity. Her feisty personality is paired with a loving, people-oriented nature that makes her impossible not to adore. Bottle-fed since one week old, Filet has grown up surrounded by human care and attention, helping shape her affectionate and social personality. She is currently working on potty pad training and will soon begin learning outdoor potty habits.
