Sally is just over a year old. We have another 10 year old male dog and they get along very well. We are needing to rehome Sally because she is very high energy. We are away from home at least 12 hours a day and I think she is bored. I am not 100% sure of her breed, but we think a foxhound/lab mix. Definitely a hound of some kind. We recently built a fence that gives her about 1 acre to run. She wants to get out of the fence and smell and explore. We think she would do well with kids or someone that can give her lots of attention. She does well inside. She seems calmer indoors. She loves to play fetch and will do that as long as you will throw the ball. She's very affectionate and will let you pick her up and hold her like a baby. Very sweet. She does well with our senior dog and also with our cat. She wants to mostly smell the cat,but can get a little aggressive with her as well. It seems like she wants to play and the cat doesn't When the cat smacks her, she leaves her alone.

I am approx. 4 months old and UTD on all vaccinations next week. She is just around 27lbs today and we estimate she will be around 35lb when grown. She is super people friendly, good with other dogs. Still working on housetraining but she does her best to go on the pads put out for playtime. She likes to lay in my lap for play and pets. Rocky is the epitome of a gentle giant at a spry senior. He loves nothing more than head scratches and to take a nap and lounge. He is happy to take a nap close to you but also loves to find a quiet space and curl up. He has done well with the other dog in his foster home, as well as the children there. He would be great for anyone looking for a low-maintenance love bug. Due to his age and older hips, he prefers short walks around the neighborhood to get in his sniffs and do his business. But, he loves to explore the backyard on his own. Even with his age, Rocky is still very STRONG and the hound dog nose is strong with him--once he picks up a scent, he wants to follow it (fair warning that this old fella can still keep people on their toes!) Due to his hips stairs are not his friend. A one-level house or apartment with an elevator would be ideal for Rocky. Rocky will make the perfect addition to someone very special.

Story
River is a loving, adorable 1.5 year old fox hound! She loves people and other dogs, and is quite the athlete. She would love a new home with a big yard to run around in or plenty of room to explore. We adopted River in Nov 2022 and estimate that she was born in Aug 2022. She is very healthy and up to date on all shots (we can provide her medical records). River has never been aggressive toward any person or dog, but she gets really excited around people and has knocked a few younger children over. If there are kids in the home that are smaller than she is (~45lbs), she will probably need a separate place to play until she gets out of her playful puppy phase.
