Oden is a confident, affectionate boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is well-trained, eats without any issues, and thrives on structure and consistency. Oden is very friendly with people and has a special soft spot for male humans, he bonds deeply and loves attention and companionship. He would do best as the only dog in the household, where he can be the center of attention, as he has a naturally dominant personality. A ray of sunshine! Beatrice is just a happy dog and doesn’t meet a stranger. She is playful, sweet and lives life to the fullest. She just wants to be wherever you are. And she’s a great size only around 38 lbs. She sat in a shelter for months continuing to get overlooked. We knew the chances of her getting adopted were slim as she has a birth defect on her back left leg. You wouldn’t know it as she does zoomies around the yard like it’s her job. Her leg is currently under evaluation so we can ensure we do what is best for her now and in the future. What we do know is that she will bring you lots of love, laughter, and happiness. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Please note we are unable to hold dogs for adopters as this ties up valuable foster homes. I found Budgie standing in the middle of a country road looking around as if she was waiting for someone. I stopped to give her water and get her to the side of the road and she jumped in my car. That was in June of this year. The shelter refused to take her so I did the best I could to keep her fed and safe. She was recently spayed and microchipped. She also has her rabies and 1st distemper/parvo shot. I will work on getting her second as I wait for a new home for her. She is a working dog who either needs to hunt or can be with someone who will exercise her at the level she needs. She is super friendly, sweet and smart. She loves going for rides in the car. I want to re-home her with someone who while they may train her to hunt, will treat her like a cherished family dog and not lock her up in some tiny kennel until they need her. She may have some training but I don't know. She is purebred and wants to sniff stuff out constantly.
