Meet Hobbs: The Soulful Old Soul Looking for a companion who brings a sense of peace and quiet joy to your home? Meet Hobbs. Hobbs is a classic "old man in a young body." He is a gentle observer who loves nothing more than finding a cozy spot to take in the world around him. Whether he’s curled up on his favorite doggy bed, lounging in front of a sunny window, or tucking himself into his kennel—his personal sanctuary where he feels safest—Hobbs is the ultimate low-key companion. Why You’ll Love Him: The Gentle Observer: Hobbs is quiet as a mouse and incredibly easy to have around. He is the perfect partner if you enjoy a calm, relaxed home atmosphere. A "Legendary" Personality: He’s mostly silent, but he does have one hilarious quirk—if he hears dogs barking on the TV, he’ll let out his legendary “ahhh-oooo” to join the conversation! It’s a guaranteed smile-maker. Well-Mannered Gentleman: Hobbs has clearly had some training! He is fully crate trained, house-broken, and a total pro on the leash. He even comes when called, showing just how much he wants to be connected to his people. A Growing Heart: While he is still learning to fully trust, his gentle nature makes it easy to fall in love with him. He is a sweet, low-energy guy who has an abundance of love to give to the right person. Important Things to Know: Social & Adaptable: Hobbs is happy to share his life with others! He would thrive in a home with another dog, children, or simply as your one-and-only companion. Trusting the Process: Because he is still building his confidence, he appreciates having a "safe space" (like his kennel) where he can retreat when he needs a little recharge. Hobbs may move at a slower pace, but he is ready to be the loyal, steady friend you’ve been looking for. If you have space in your heart for a soulful, quiet gentleman, Hobbs is ready to meet you!

Story
Meet Odin: The Ultimate Loyal Companion If you’re looking for a dog who embodies the true meaning of "man’s best friend," look no further than Odin. Odin is a 2 to 2.5-year-old goofy, affectionate, and resilient soul who is ready to find his definitive person or family. A year ago, he survived a rough encounter with a car, but don't let that fool you—he bounced back with an unbreakable spirit. Today, his broken leg is fully healed, and he is healthy, active, and completely ready to be your loyal sidekick on every neighborhood stroll. 🐕 The Perfect Roommate & Companion Odin has mastered the art of domestic life and takes pride in being a very good boy. He’s got the brains, the manners, and the discipline to seamlessly fit into a home: Housebroken & Crate Trained: He treats his crate like his own quiet haven and respects the house completely. A Polite Scholar: Odin knows Sit, Stay, and Come. Showing off his excellent impulse control, he will even wait patiently for your green light before diving into his dinner. Excellent Leash Manners: Thanks to some great work with his trainer, Meghan, Odin is a dream on walks, especially on a long line where he can explore responsibly. 🐾 Social, Playful, and Sweet Odin is a true "dog’s dog." He loves nothing more than convincing his foster sisters that life is one big, joyful party. When he isn’t playing a spirited game of fetch (he’s still perfecting the "drop it" command because he loves his toys just a little too much), he transforms into a world-class snuggler. His absolute favorite things in life are simple: a good head scratch, a tasty pig ear, and being close to the people he loves. ☀️ Odin’s Perfect Day Odin thrives on a relaxed, balanced routine. He likes to start his morning with a hearty breakfast, followed by his favorite daily ritual: retreating to his bed for a dedicated, multi-hour morning nap. He is a low-maintenance, easygoing companion who just wants to be part of the daily rhythm—exploring the world’s smells with you by afternoon, and curling up on the couch for cuddles by evening. 🏠 Ready to Welcome Him Home? Odin is the total package: healthy, trained, and overflowing with unconditional love. He has so much loyalty left to give; he just needs a home and a handler to give it to. If you are ready for a faithful partner to share your life and your couch, Odin is ready to meet you.

Finley came to Hallie Hill as part of a litter of nine. He was adopted out as a small puppy, but came back to HH at a year old after his new home could not provide the time and attention he needs. Finley is very sweet and energetic and needs a home with lots of room to run and a household that likes to stay active. He has gotten along well with his yard mates.

Story
Meet Marlene, quite possibly the sweetest, kindest soul you will ever meet. Marlene is a gentle, low-key girl who is eager to please, even if she is still figuring out how the big wide world works! She is currently learning the ropes of being a beloved pet in her foster home, and she is proving to be an absolute dream of a companion for anyone looking for a quiet, affectionate sidekick. Marlene’s absolute favorite pastime is finding a soft, cozy spot and just watching the world go by. In her foster home, she has claimed the ultimate prize: a spot in the bay window where she can diligently supervise all the neighborhood happenings. When she isn't on neighborhood watch, she is all about the snuggle life. Marlene is naturally very social and loves her humans, though she is still a sensitive soul—loud or sudden noises can be a little scary for her, so she appreciates a gentle reassuring hand. Walking on a leash is a brand-new skill for Marlene, but she is learning fast! Having a confident foster brother to walk with has done wonders for her, as she loves to look to other dogs to show her the way. While she hasn’t quite figured out how to "play" with other dogs just yet, she absolutely loves their company and finds a lot of comfort in having a four-legged sibling around. Because she gains so much confidence from a buddy, she would do wonderfully in a home with another patient, friendly dog to help guide her. If you are looking for a quiet, gentle sweetheart to share your couch, your windowsills, and your heart, Marlene is ready to meet you!
