AIDEN's owner brought him home as a puppy and kept him on a chain his whole life. We were able to bring him into our group a few months ago. Since then he has blossomed! He cannot believe he can run and play to his heart's content. He was a little afraid of toys at first, but now he LOVES to play fetch. He is kennel trained and is very happy in his big, 54" kennel with his own window to look out of. We are introducing him to other dogs now and he is learning how to play and be a dog. Although Aiden's major breed is a Plott Hound (a large dog), Aiden is 45 pounds and full grown. He has several other hound breeds in him as well. Maddie’s DNA results are in! According to Wisdom Panel, she’s a mix of four breeds, with Bloodhound and German Shepherd as her top two. At 2 years old and 60 pounds, this sweet girl is ready to find her forever home. Maddie loves playing with other dogs and would do best in a home with a large, playful companion who matches her energetic play style. She is potty trained and kennel trained, though she’s not the biggest fan of her kennel, so a home where someone is around most of the time would be ideal. She’s a strong girl and needs an experienced adopter—she’s currently working with a trainer to improve her leash skills. Maddie adores every person she meets, but because of her size and strength, any children in the home should be at least 7 years old and steady on their feet. She would never knock a child over on purpose, but she doesn’t always realize how big she is. No cats!
