Story
AIDEN's owner brought him home as a puppy and kept him on a chain his whole life. We were able to bring him into our group a few months ago. Since then he has blossomed! He cannot believe he can run and play to his heart's content. He was a little afraid of toys at first, but now he LOVES to play fetch. He is kennel trained and is very happy in his big, 54" kennel with his own window to look out of. We are introducing him to other dogs now and he is learning how to play and be a dog. Although Aiden's major breed is a Plott Hound (a large dog), Aiden is 45 pounds and full grown. He has several other hound breeds in him as well. For more information on Aiden, please email can.adoptions@yahoo.com.

Story
Yippee and Yates are the only two still waiting for a forever home of the "8 is enough" series. They just passed their first birthday, and we really do not know at all why two such gorgeous and well-behaved hounds are still at the Furry Friendzy rescue. The holidays are upon us. How about giving them the gift of a loving family and home. They will definitely reciprocate in kind. Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. The dogs are Spayed/Neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and on heart worm/flea preventive. Story
What kind of dog is Guidry? We see American Foxhound, Treeing Walker Coonhound, Beagle. Maybe a combination thereof? Whatever it is, the result is a wonderful dog. Smaller than a Walker, taller than a Beagle and sturdy in built. His personality is sweet, laid back and accommodating with all the new friends he met at rescue. We see Guidry as a great companion to an active person or family, who love to be outside and explore nature. Of course a nice sofa will be appreciated too. How about it? Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. Story
Axel is a 6yo male that loves to be with people and has been well loved. He gets along with the other animals in the home, and is good with children. Axel needs space to run, play ball, and smell all the smells his bloodhound nose can find. He needs a family that has the time to engage with him and keep him active. He is scared of thunder and fireworks. He has never been aggressive with people or other animals. He is house trained and will go to the door to be let out to potty. He follows basic commands to sit, stay, release, but could be taught more as he wants to please his people. He’s a good boy that needs a home that can give him everything he needs.

Story
Maddie’s DNA results are in! According to Wisdom Panel, she’s a mix of four breeds, with Bloodhound and German Shepherd as her top two. At 3 years old and 60 pounds, this sweet girl is ready to find her forever home. Maddie loves playing with other dogs and would do best in a home with a large, playful companion who matches her energetic play style. She is potty trained and kennel trained, though she’s not the biggest fan of her kennel, so a home where someone is around most of the time would be ideal. She’s a strong girl and needs an experienced adopter—she’s currently working with a trainer to improve her leash skills. Maddie adores every person she meets, but because of her size and strength, any children in the home should be at least 7 years old and steady on their feet. She would never knock a child over on purpose, but she doesn’t always realize how big she is. No cats! If you’re interested in adopting Maddie, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a home check *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org      Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee      Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2088340##
