Story
Luna is a beautiful 2-year-old Walker Hound/Great Pyrenees mix with the sweetest personality and a playful spirit. She weighs about 66 lbs, is fully up to date on all vaccinations, and is healthy, active, and full of love.Luna absolutely loves people and wants to be part of the family. She is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she’s close to her humans — whether that’s cuddling on the couch, laying her head in your lap, or following you around the house. She has a goofy, expressive personality that keeps everyone smiling. She is very food motivated, which makes her eager to learn and easy to reward. Luna loves to run, play tug, wrestle with other dogs, and spend time outdoors, but she also has a calm, snuggly side once she settles down. She would thrive with an active family, a fenced yard, or someone familiar with larger working/hound breeds. She doesn't understand her size or strength but she is so sweet and just wants to be a part of everything.Help us find her forever family.

Once he feels safe, his playful personality truly shines. He loves spending time with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine friend for playdates or companionship. Tucker is looking for a calm, understanding home where he can come out of his shell at his own pace—and in return, he’ll give you a lifetime of quiet loyalty and love.

Adoption Process If you are ready to meet the pet, please fill out an online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your internet browser: https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10666/generic Once your application is submitted, we will contact the vet reference provided. If you do not yet have a vet, please provide three personal references – these could be family and friends who can attest to your pet parenting skills. A volunteer will schedule a phone interview with you. The interview and application help our fosters find their forever home by ensuring a good match.   The Louisa Humane Society does not have a brick and mortar facility, so all of our pets are in foster care. Once approved, the foster parent will reach out to arrange a visit. The foster family can tell you all about her likes, dislikes, and little quirks.  The application and visit do not oblige you to adopt, but if you’re ready to take the pet home as your furry forever friend, the adoption fee is $150. ##2754512##

Story
Meet Daisy Belle ❤️Some dogs come into your life with a story. Daisy Belle came with a mystery. She was found in a very remote area on a farm, and no one knows how she ended up there. What we do know is that whoever adopts Daisy Belle will be gaining an absolute treasure. At 28 pounds of pure love, Daisy Belle is one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you'll ever meet. She bonds quickly and deeply with her people and simply wants to be where you are. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, working around the house, or settling in for the night, Daisy Belle is happiest by your side. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats, never causing a fuss. If another pet wants to play, she's happy to join in. If not, she's perfectly content to go with the flow. Her easygoing nature makes her a wonderful companion in a variety of households. Daisy Belle loves treats, looks forward to every meal, and has excellent house manners. She is fully potty trained, happily goes outside to do her business, and comes right back in. At bedtime, she loves to snuggle and sleeps soundly through the night. While Daisy Belle isn't a fan of being crated, she doesn't need one. She is well-behaved in the home and doesn't spend her time getting into mischief. She can stay home alone when necessary, but she would thrive with a family where someone is around much of the time. More than anything, she loves companionship and being part of the daily routine. As for her breed mix, your guess is as good as ours! She appears to be a unique combination of Basset Hound and Boxer or perhaps Basset Hound and Bulldog. Whatever her DNA may say, the result is a one-of-a-kind girl with a big heart, a charming personality, and plenty of love to give. Daisy Belle's beginnings may be a mystery, but her future is easy to imagine: curled up beside the people she loves, finally home where she belongs.   Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in helping this girl!!!!!!  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 19, 2026, 9:22 pm
