Story
Luna is a beautiful 2-year-old Walker Hound/Great Pyrenees mix with the sweetest personality and a playful spirit. She weighs about 66 lbs, is fully up to date on all vaccinations, and is healthy, active, and full of love.Luna absolutely loves people and wants to be part of the family. She is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she’s close to her humans — whether that’s cuddling on the couch, laying her head in your lap, or following you around the house. She has a goofy, expressive personality that keeps everyone smiling. She is very food motivated, which makes her eager to learn and easy to reward. Luna loves to run, play tug, wrestle with other dogs, and spend time outdoors, but she also has a calm, snuggly side once she settles down. She would thrive with an active family, a fenced yard, or someone familiar with larger working/hound breeds. She doesn't understand her size or strength but she is so sweet and just wants to be a part of everything.Help us find her forever family.

Story
Hi there, I'm Susie Q! I love spending my days lounging around, enjoying the quiet moments, and soaking up all the love I can get. I'm known for my sweet nature and smart mind. I've mastered many tricks and always impress my friends here with my quick learning. I'm also very loyal; once I find my person, I stick by them through thick and thin. I'm just looking for someone who appreciates a calm, loving companion. Adopting me means gaining a faithful friend forever. Adoption Process If you are ready to meet the pet, please fill out an online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your internet browser: https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10666/generic Once your application is submitted, we will contact the vet reference provided. If you do not yet have a vet, please provide three personal references – these could be family and friends who can attest to your pet parenting skills. A volunteer will schedule a phone interview with you. The interview and application help our fosters find their forever home by ensuring a good match.   The Louisa Humane Society does not have a brick and mortar facility, so all of our pets are in foster care. Once approved, the foster parent will reach out to arrange a visit. The foster family can tell you all about her likes, dislikes, and little quirks.  The application and visit do not oblige you to adopt, but if you’re ready to take the pet home as your furry forever friend, the adoption fee is $150. ##2635938##

Story
Hi there, I'm Lucky! Despite being deaf, I'm a cheerful, gentle soul with a playful streak. I've been told I'm quite the comedian, always up to some goofy antic that brings laughter to my friends here. I'm smart too, you know. I've learned to understand hand signals and can perform tricks that'll amaze you. I'm also independent, so I won't be under your feet all the time. But when you need a cuddle, I'm your guy. I'm mellow and sweet, just the right companion to brighten your day. So, why should you adopt me? Well, my goofy antics will keep you entertained, my gentleness will bring calm to your home, and my intelligence will keep you on your toes. Most of all, I promise to be your best friend, always there to offer a wagging tail and a cuddly snuggle. Let's make beautiful memories together!
