This is a wonderful gal!! She is very friendly and loves people. She likes to talk, play with other pups and be hugged by anyone! She would be a great adventure companion for any family. She has done well on a leash and in a car. She will need all of the basic training but should learn quite fast. She is learning her name and is ready to go! Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders Transport Company.

This boy is a wonderful boy!! He is fun, friendly and ready to go. He gets along with other pups and should do well with kids. He loves to play and has the wonderful hound personality. He will need all the puppy training, and leash work, but should learn quite fast. He is ready for his new adventure with his forever family. Linus is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Dr. Pepper is two and a half years old but has an old-school hound vibe. When he came to us a year and a half ago he was very shy and took a long time to trust people. He has many people and dog friends now, and once he knows you and trusts you he is quite the snuggler. He waits patiently for that perfect person to come take him home. He is a very reasonable guy, will walk calmly on lead, and isn’t much of a crooner. Dr. Pepper loves to be stroked on his head and face-- of course he enjoys body rubs too. He plays with the toys in his room and kennel. Dr. Pepper regularly goes to daycare at Camp Merricks and enjoys running around with other dog friends. He LOVES to play with other dogs. And often doesn't want to return to the shelter. He will need a little time and patience to adjust to his new home, but this handsome boy is totally worth it! Benny, Benito, Good Boy, Ben-jammin, is a curious and kind hound learning the difference between being a good boy and a goodest boy and have a family of his own one day. Benny came in as a stray and seemed not to understand a lot of basics. It's likely that he has never been a in-house pet. One staff member described him learning to walk on the leash like he was learning to drive stick shift. But Benny is a persistent student and loves to be rewarded with treats, cuddles, and "good boys" and he has made great progress in a very short time. He's figured out pottying outside and adores hanging out with people. He's very curious about new things he's experiencing at the shelter. During a doggy play group he excitedly looked to the staff members to see if he was playing right--of course he was, in his way. Benny is funny and friendly dog. We know he's going to be someone's goodest boy very soon! Apply to adopt Benny today!
