He would be a great option for a senior or quiet family looking for a loyal companion. He does have slight hearing loss due to his age and seasonal allergies that are easily treated with Apoquel. This lovable little guy is all about affection—expect plenty of hand licks and surprise face kisses. He loves to flop down wherever you are, just happy to hang out and be part of your world. Pudge has met several dogs and gets along great with the girls (well… except for one he wanted to boss around for a minute ). With a little patience and direction, he’s learning fast and making friends. He is selective about the boys though. He’s still working on house training but does well on a routine, and while he’s crate trained, he’d much rather snooze next to his favorite human. He’s a sweet, loyal snuggle bug who might bark a bit to protect his people once he feels at home—but that’s just Pudge being the loving little guardian he is. She eats separately in a crate because she gets crazy with her food. But she can eat with other dogs we just have many in foster so it’s easiest to let her eat in a crate. She is very into toys and it’s hard to get one out of her mouth . Adults can do it no problem but I wouldn’t recommend kids in the home cause when she is trying to get it back she may get your hand instead of the toy back . She is great with other dogs and runs around with them but mostly toy obsessed. A ball she will play with outside all day, you gotta get her in or she could over heat cause she won’t stop unless you make her . She runs stiffly with her back legs . The shelter did some vetting said if could be a disc. it doesn’t affect her in any way but like most Frenchie almost always have some medical so not sure If that would be something down the road .
