He walks nicely on a leash, is good in the car and is housebroken.  His family feels he would do best as the only pet where he can receive all the love and attention he deserves. He would be a great option for a senior or quiet family looking for a loyal companion.  he doe shave slight hearing loss due to his age and seasonal allergies that are easily treated with Apoquel. Tux is fixed,  up to date on vaccines. His  adoption fee is $300. How to Adopt Me! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Online Adoption Application Cannoli is about 6 years old . She is a very good dog that we can manage wonderfully. She eats separately in a crate because she gets crazy with her food. But she can eat with other dogs we just have many in foster so it’s easiest to let her eat in a crate. She is very into toys and it’s hard to get one out of her mouth . Adults can do it no problem but I wouldn’t recommend kids in the home cause when she is trying to get it back she may get your hand instead of the toy back . She is great with other dogs and runs around with them but mostly toy obsessed. A ball she will play with outside all day, you gotta get her in or she could over heat cause she won’t stop unless you make her . She runs stiffly with her back legs . The shelter did some vetting said if could be a disc.  it doesn’t affect her in any way but like most Frenchie almost always have some medical so not sure If that would be something down the road .  She is stubborn but she does follow correction well . Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 3, 2025, 10:34 am

Story
Meet Speck! Speck is a 7 year old, 29 lb French Bulldog who is basically the definition of a perfect little couch companion. He’s a true foodie at heart and believes all snacks are good snacks. He is happiest when he’s curled up under a fuzzy blanket, snoozing on the couch or stretched out in bed right next to his humans. Speck is incredibly snuggly and loves being close. He’s the kind of guy who will happily settle in for a nap wherever you are. He plays beautifully with other dogs of all sizes, gets along well with cats, and brings an easygoing, friendly energy to every room. He is house trained, crate trained, and not much of a barker at all. Instead, he communicates with the cutest little Frenchie snorts and snuffles, especially when his snout is busy doing important sniffies. If you are looking for a sweet, low key, affectionate companion who will happily be your shadow and your nap buddy, Speck is ready to steal your heart and probably your snacks. Speck is currently being fostered in Scotch Plains, NJ and his adoption fee is $600. Speck is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Meet Ally! 🐾 My name is Ally, and I’m a very sweet 4-year-old female French Bulldog, weighing just 20 pounds. I love other dogs, but my absolute favorite place to be is right by your side.
