Story
Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, December 14th, 2024 at Immanual Union Church (693 Jewett Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314) from 11am-3pm.
Meet Jenni! Jenni is a sweet and curious 4-year-old French Bulldog weighing 20 pounds. Despite her difficult beginnings in a puppy mill, Jenni's curiosity about the world shines through.
She adores being around her foster parents and happily follows them from room to room, keeping a close eye on what they're doing. While she's still learning to relax and cuddle, Jenni has no problem letting you know when she's feeling lonely-she prefers the company of people and other dogs over being on her own.
When it comes to canine companions, Jenni's trust is unwavering. She gets along wonderfully with her three large foster siblings, who outweigh her by 40-50 pounds, and loves following them around to make new discoveries together.
Everything is still new for Jenni, but she's already gaining confidence. She's becoming comfortable exploring the backyard and will soon join her foster siblings on walks. She's also a big fan of her crate, finding it a cozy and safe place for rest and relaxation.
Jenni's gentle, innocent face says it all-she's ready for love and eager to give it back in return. She just needs a patient and caring family to show her she's truly safe. Could Jenni be the perfect addition to your home?
Jenni is currently being fostered in Fanwood, NJ. Her adoption fee is $600.
Jenni is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
