YARA!!!! So much to say about this sweet sweet soul. She has the cutest under bite that lights up your day. It is impossible to stay angry at that face. Yara is approximately 1 and a half years old. She is spayed, house trained and kennel trained. Yara does great with all other dogs. She even helps her foster mom with the foster pups. She just loves keeping them rounded up and rolls over on her back so they can get to her face to play. Yara even attends doggie daycare where she is perfect in the big dog room and even great in the small dog areas!!! Yara, being just one year, does have energy. She loves her walks but can pull just a bit when excited by another dog. She gets sooooo excited when the leash comes out. Yara is great in the car and her foster mom really has no complaints. If you won’t let her in your lap she lays at your feet with her head on them. She makes a nice foot warmer or blanket which ever you wish. Yara would be wonderful in a home with another dog with energy to exhaust. They could tire each other out then settle in for nice long naps. Our adorable wheelchair pup, Jax, is still searching for his forever home!Jax has settled into a wonderful foster home, where he enjoys snuggling and hopping around the room with his doggy foster brother, Dice, and being doted on by his foster family. But, our sweetest boy is still searching for a home of his own. Please share for Jax, who is sure to bring smiles and a special brightness to the right home! Jax is a 2-year-old Frenchie / shih tzu who became paralyzed last summer after injuring himself jumping over a gate. He had disc surgery but didn't fully recover. While the sad news is that Jax does not have full mobility, the amazing news is that he can zoom around adorably on wheels and can go to the bathroom on his own! Jax has some movement in his back legs and can do some spinal walking / drag himself. He is aware when he has to go potty and is working on his housebreaking. He, of course, comes with his own doggy wheelchair! The best news is that Jax is a happy, energetic and adorable little guy at 22 pounds. Lucas is a social butterfly, adoring both dogs and cats alike, and he eagerly welcomes interactions with people of all ages. Personality: Lucas's zest for life is contagious. He delights in car rides, leisurely walks, and indulgent naps. Tug-of-war is his favorite game, and he's always up for a round. Affectionate and sociable, Lucas showers everyone he meets with love and is overjoyed by belly rubs and ear scratches. After a burst of energy-filled zoomies, he happily settles down for a cozy nap, ready to recharge for his next adventure. Kids: 10+ Dogs: Yes! He would love to have a doggy sibling in his home! Lucas pulls out of excitement at first on the leash but once he calms down after a few minutes he then does well. Why did he come to WISE? Lucas was abandoned at a shelter by his owners. WISE could not leave him there and quickly saved him!
