Story
Opal is both beautiful and sweet, but we have learned that the best home for her would be with a single woman with no other pets. Opal loves her human completely and she simply doesn’t want to share. She is extremely possessive. Not to the point where she bites but she growls and barks a lot and that does not make for a peaceful home life for anyone. Opal is fun and playful and affectionate with her person. She loves to go for walks and rides in the car and she’s good with other dogs as long as her person doesn’t want to love on them. Then she growls them away. Opal is spayed, UTD required vaccines and his heartworm negative. She is house trained, but might have an accident or two until she settles in. We just have to find that “right“ home for this precious girl. She would truly be someone’s very best friend. Story
Phil is looking for a very special understanding home! This 9 month old Frenchie was surrendered to a local shelter when his owners couldn't meet his needs. We have had extensive diagnostics done to get to the bottom of his chronic diarrhea issues and he does have fairly severe IBD which will require lifelong care to manage- medications and a strict prescription diet. He's improved but it's going to be a trial and error process under the care of vets because of the severity of is issue. We are waiting on a recheck and further results but he is suspected to have some chronic irritable bowel type issues, and already improved greatly on a special prescription diet and medications. We are hoping to find little Phil a local home where he can be monitored and follow up with our vet. Phil can be a little standoffish at first and undersocialized but a fun playful puppy once he bonds. He's at that adolescent stage where he can be a bit of a brat testing boundaries at times and needs some training and an adult household to continue to work with him. No kitties for him, and he can be choosy about his dog friends at times. Please submit an application to meet him Primary Color: Tan Age: 0yrs 11mths 0wks

Story
I’m Diya—a 4-year-old Frenchie with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I weigh about 34 pounds, which means I’m sturdy enough for adventure but still the perfect size for cozy cuddles. I absolutely love people and other dogs, and I’m always ready to make new friends wherever I go. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood or a nap by your side, I’m happiest when I’m sharing life with someone. I should probably tell you—I have some allergies that cause a little inflammation around my eyes. It doesn’t slow me down or change how much love I have to give though! If you’re looking for a best girlfriend who will light up your days with wiggles, kisses, and that classic Frenchie charm, I’m ready and waiting with my whole heart. Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Hi there, I’m Jones—a 7-year-old Frenchie looking for a forever home. I weigh about 36 pounds, and every ounce of me is packed with love, loyalty, and a little bit of that classic Frenchie charm. I’m the kind of guy who’s just happy to be part of the action, whether that means lounging by your side or tagging along for a stroll around the block. I’m sweet, friendly, and I get along great with both people and other dogs. I’ve been around long enough to know that the best things in life are the simple ones—good company, cozy naps, and lots of love. If you’re searching for a sweet, happy soul to make your home feel even warmer, I might just be your perfect match. Story
Hi there everyone! I’m Quincy—a 6-year-old female Frenchie with a sweet soul and a heart that’s ready for a fresh start. I weigh about 31 pounds, just the right size for cozying up next to you or finding the perfect sunny spot for a nap. Everyone says I’m a total cutie pie, but what I’m really dreaming for is someone who sees how much love I have to give once you get to know me. I have a good temperament around other dogs and enjoy their company, but when it comes to people, I can be a little shy at first. But with a little patience and kindness and a canine buddy in my forever home I will come right out of my shell. Are you the forever family I have been dreaming of?
