Story
This fun boy was part of a forced surrender group but he shows no mean signs of his neglect. He is friendly and a lot of fun. He loves to play!! Definite terrier energy and a great boy to hang around with. He loves people and other dogs, although his barking to get others to play with him does tend to have the opposite effect. He is not mean and does well sharing. He likes any sort of toy but does have a short attention span with them. He would do well with any type of household but will need the basic training of being inside, we don’t think he was inside at all. He does spill his food out and will chew any bed given to him, it will take some time for him to get used to any of that. A house with kids that like to run and play would work great with him or any active family that can wear him out. He is a love and is waiting to share it all with a new family to call his own. We also use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
Midge is the most snaggle-toothed pup we've ever seen! She was recently rescued from a shelter in Texas - this sweet girl is about 8 years old and weighs 13 pounds.  Midge is a laid back girl and she just wants to follow you around everywhere. She gets along with other dogs and she's currently living with 2 cats and has been absolutely fine with them. Midge is well behaved in the car, loves her daily walks and has no problem keeping up with the 4 year old dogs in her foster home! Midge is house trained for the most part but if she is left alone for longer than 6 hours during the day, she might have an accident. She sleeps through the night without an accident as long as she sleeps in the same room with her people. Midge recently had surgery to close up a fistula (hole) in the roof of her mouth. There is a chance that she may need more surgery in the future. She also had a number of bad teeth removed but she is still the snaggle-toothed girl we love!   If you'd like to meet Midge, please complete an adoption application at www.northstarpets.org and be sure to ask for MIDGE TX!April 18, 2024, 7:52 pm
