Ladies! &#239&#184&#143 Have you ever been offered a job by your local police department because you chase the same men that they do?  Do you see all the red flags and get excited because you thought it was a carnival? &#239&#184&#143 Well today is your lucky day… Convict Codi is ready to move in! Codi is a 5 year old French Bulldog surrendered to us for having a sh*tty attitude. You would probably rather get pecked to death by a chicken than attempt to give Codi a manicure.  Living with Codi is like living with your best friend or living with satan… there really is no in between.   For the most part, Codi doesn’t mind other dogs.  He is reported to like cats.  He will pick fights with children.  Hell, he picks fights with adults. #HideYoKidz We will be sending Codi his adoptive home with jumper cables, since he loves to start sh*t.  If you would like to add this toxic little mans to your family (thoughts and prayers to you), apply below!   ♥ ADOPTION APP: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NARP/Dog   &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#137&#203&#161   &#203&#161 &#226&#129&#177 &#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191 &#203&#162&#225&#181&#137 :  ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188   &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163  ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129 &#202&#183 &#225&#182&#156 &#202&#176 &#203&#161&#225&#181&#131 &#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#136 ,  &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172  ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176 owner surrender   &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#137&#203&#161   &#203&#161 &#226&#129&#177 &#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191 &#203&#162&#225&#181&#137 :    ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188   &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163  ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129 &#202&#183 &#225&#182&#156 &#202&#176 &#203&#161&#225&#181&#131 &#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#136 ,  &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172  ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176   &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#137&#203&#161   &#203&#161 &#226&#129&#177 &#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191 &#203&#162&#225&#181&#137 :    ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188   &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163  ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129 &#202&#183 &#225&#182&#156 &#202&#176 &#203&#161&#225&#181&#131 &#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#136 ,  &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172  ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176 April 24, 2024, 2:49 pm

Story
Adopt Milo! This spunky french bulldog is searching for his forever home   Milo arrived to one of our shelter partners when his owners couldn’t keep up with his health needs. Same old Frenchie story. Upon arriving to our care we discovered he had some mobility “flaws”. We got him to one of our vet partners and discovered he has a condition called hemivertebrae. He unfortunately was born with an abnormally shaped vertebrae and has stiff knees due to some bone abnormalities. He is basically… reproduction of poor breeding. Milo is about 3 years old and dog friendly. He previously lived with children and loves being with people! He’s a great patient and the vet and social with everyone he meets. Although he has some special health considerations and a genetic condition, he gets around well and isn’t held back. He can do steps and zoomie, and will initiate play with his foster siblings. He tends to snore, loves to beatle roll and be your shadow. He will velcro himself to you like glue but also can go missing sometimes and found snuggled up in a laundry basket Milo will need an adopter who is willing and prepared to to provide life long IVDD management, as all French Bulldogs require. Milo does have a history of typical bulldog allergies and came to us with a nasty ear infection that has since cleared. He is eating a limited ingredient allergy friendly diet for his skin.  Like all dogs, Milo will need time to decompress in his new home. Scenery changes do stress him out, but give him a chance to settle in his new home and he is the best companion. Milo would love another dog in the home for comfort, he gravitates towards his foster siblings and is the best buddy! Story
Allow us to introduce the most magnificent dog, Xavier. Xavier was likely a result of bad Frenchie breeding,.something we see all too often when a breed is very popular, very fast. But his paralyzed back half does not stop this dog from being the most attention loving smoosh on the planet. He wears his diapers happily but does need assistance relieving himself with manual expression. Foster mom has declared this easy, fast, well received, and reciprocated with many kisses and squished. Xavier is a friend to all, and he gets along well with dogs, cats, and every human he meets. If you have a soft spot in your heart for dogs with diaper booties and couch levels, please apply for him today.

Story
Is she a dog? Is she a gremlin? An Ewok? A cat? We dunno…we just know she’s Mrs. Beatrice Bigglesworth and she’s as fabulous as she is sassy. She’s a squat little thing, only 30lbs, but she’s very top heavy. We think she’s around 1.5 years old so she’s somewhere in between “a bull in a china shop” and “snuggle bug” energy…she pulls off both very well. When it’s time to party…gooorrrllll it’s on!!!! She’s got hops for days and will zoom around the yard like a tornado! But when it’s time to snuggle or watch tv she’s all about that snug life and will curl right up on you and sleep the night away. Miss B is mostly crate trained (just polishing it up in her foster home) and completely house trained. She walks well on a leash and can actually keep up pretty well with the big dogs despite her stature! She’s gotten along with all the dogs she’s met and she gets along fine with the kitties in her foster home too. She hasn’t had much exposure to kids but she would probably do best with older kids at this point because of her puppy energy and hops. She was found as a stray in the south so she’s still working on some house manners, like not putting things in her mouth, not jumping up on stuff, etc, but she’s already learned so much and will be a house dog in no time! Above all else, Miss B loves her toys…plushie toys, balls, kongs, bones…she’s not picky but she requires one at all times. If you’d like to add a sassy little gremlin to your life to keep you on your toes and keep you laughing Mrs. Beatrice Bigglesworth is your girl!

Story
Bodhi is ready to look for his forever home. Bodhi is an 8 month old Beagle/Bulldog mix who came from the Amish when he got too old to sell. He has been in foster for about a month now and is fitting in nicely. Bodhi is a little shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly. His foster mom states he is housebroken and crate trained. He is a hoarder of things so if you can’t find anything just look in your sofa cushion. Bodhi also plays well with other dogs but does like to chase cats but only to play. Story
"Hello there, I am Stellaluna, like the little bat in the story book. My foster mom calls me Estelle, or Stellie, Stell. Or Stellaloonie when I'm being silly! Names don't matter to me as long as you snuggle with me! All I want from life is a soft couch, yummy food, and a warm lap. I love to be held, petted, and give LOTS of kisses. I would love to sleep in the big bed! I take naps with my foster mom and it's wonderful! I like to go for walks, chew on soft toys, and EAT FOOD! I am living my best life since I came to Zoe's and I bet you can make it even better!" Stella was surrendered from a commercial breeder. She came to us underweight and desperate for love and attention. She also had four mammary tumors that required a quadruple mastectomy, and a hernia repair. Despite the tumors and crappy health, within weeks of being with her foster family she was up to a healthy weight. Stella is good with dogs, cats, and small animals. She would be great for a family with or without children! She is very puppy-like in her mannerisms and has been an absolute joy in her foster home. Stella is housebroken, but accidents are normal in a new environment. She does not have accidents in her foster home as long as she gets outside to potty regularly. She does not require a fenced yard, however if you do not have a fence she will need to be on a leash. Stella is used to a crate, and stays there when her foster mom leaves the house, or at night. She loves her cozy bed. She is quiet, and does not bark or fuss in her crate, until her foster mom comes home and then she gets excited and will yell to greet her. Stellaluna is spayed, had dental work removing decayed molars, had her tumors removed, a hernia repaired, has been microchipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for Heartworm. Stella has also been treated for a tick borne disease and parasites. She has been given a clean bill of health and ready to find her forever home. In addition to good nutrition Stella's foster mom has been giving her salmon oil and joint supplements. It would be recommended that she continue these. Stella is being fostered in southern Lancaster county PA, and interested families must be willing to travel to her foster home, and bring along any existing dogs in the home. Ready to meet our Stellaluna? Go online to www.zoeshouserescue.com and complete an adoption application! We do not always receive applications submitted through adoptapet or petfinder. Story
Meet Ramona! "Hello! I am so happy to meet you! I am a silly little girl who loves to be petted and wiggles all around! I'm 3 years old and about 15lbs. I was surrendered to Zoe's House by a commercial breeder. I've had a few litters of pups, but now the mama life is behind me and I'm ready to be someone's baby! I am good with other dogs, okay with dog savvy cats, and I LOVE people! I am very puppy-like in my playstyle with other dogs and it may annoy some dogs. If I'm adopted into a family with another dog, the dog will need to be of similar energy level. I may bother older dogs or dogs who want to be left alone. It's all in good nature though! I just want to play! I am learning to fetch and play with toys in my foster home!" Ramona is a sweet little pup who warms up quickly to new people. She is a little bit timid at first, but she loves being petted and held! She likes going for walks and loves to make friends. She is happy-go-lucky and silly! She loves to run around and is almost always on the go. Once she crashes for a nap, she likes a blanket and a warm lap, in true Boston Terrier style! Ramona is nearly house broken, she has only had 2 accidents on the first day in her foster home. She quickly learned the routine and now always potties outside as long as she is kept on a schedule. Potty accidents are common for dogs in new environments, and her new family should plan on having a routine so she knows when to expect her potty breaks. Ramona will either need to have a physical fenced yard or to always be leashed, she would wander away without a leash or a fence. Upon intake to the rescue, it was noted by our vet that Ramona has a mild heart condition. She has had an echocardiogram by a veterinary cardiologist. While this very mild condition is unlikely to ever cause her problems, it will need checked yearly by a veterinarian for any changes. Ramona's foster mom can go over any concerns with prospective families. Ramona is being fostered in southern Lancaster county pa. Interested families must be willing to travel to her foster home twice to adopt her. The first visit is a meet and greet with all members of the household, including resident dogs. After the meet and greet a date for adoption will be agreed upon. Ramona is spayed, had a dental cleaning, is heartworm negative, is up to date on vaccines, is microchipped, and has been treated with monthly parasite preventatives.
