Story
Meet Minnie, a cute little pug. Minnie and her brother, Mickey, were well loved but surrendered due to housing issues. Minnie is 10 years old and weighs 20 lbs. This friendly girl loves to get attention from people! She is extremely affectionate. Minnie is housetrained, including pee pad trained, and is also crate-trained, though she can also be trusted to roam freely when home alone. She gets along with other dogs, big and small. She also is good around kitties and children of all ages! Preference will be given to adopters who can take both Minnie and Mickey together, but we would consider separating them as long as there is another dog in the home they each go to. Minnie has some lumps that need to be removed and tested before she can be adopted. Apply for this little darling at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Story
This is Mickey, a goofy little pug! Mickey and his sister, Minnie, were well loved but surrendered due to housing issues. Mickey is 10 years old and weighs 20 lbs. Don’t let his age fool you, Mickey still has lots of energy! He loves going on walks, sniffing everything, and leaving some “pee”-mail behind for other doggie-passersbys. Mickey is housetrained, including pee pad trained, and is also crate-trained, though he was left to roam freely when home alone in the past. Mickey is good around other dogs and cats, too. He would do just fine in a home with children. Preference will be given to adopters who can take both Minnie and Mickey together, but we would consider separating them as long as there is another dog in the home they each go to. Apply for this funny guy at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Peaceable Kingdom, PA Kennel License#04131,1049 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :)When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :)Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us!Hellow my name is Layla I think.  I lived in a really dirty house with 148 dogs.  It wasn't very fun and it smelled REALLY bad which means I smelled really bad too :(  Here at the ranch they love us and give us spa days and really good food!  I'm still really scared I'm not used to people touching me and wanting to pick me up so I run and hide but momma Lynn says I will learn to trust it will just take a little time :)  So I would love to go with GiGi cause she is my best friend but as long as I have another small dog maybe I will be OKREQUIREMENTSAnother small dogFenced YardVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We have sat down with the staff and told them we would like a fenced yard when we are adopted :)  2nd Chance has promised we will not go to a one dog household we want another small dog to play with if we can't stay together! Story
Well hello there! My name is Lollipop and my foster family tells me I'm the total package. Sweet, gentle, affectionate, and good with children just to name a few. Don't let my shy nature trick you at first. Give me a chance to warm up and get comfy and I'll smother you with never-ending smooches. I'm still getting used to the big wide world and prefer retreating to the cozy comfort of my crate when I'm feeling unsure, but my favorite place is right by your side, snuggling up on the couch and basking in your love. I'm not the biggest fan of car rides yet and they make me a bit nervous, but with some extra practice and reassurance from you, I just know I'll learn to love our adventures together! Now, I have to confess, I'm a bit of a foodie. I can't resist a tasty treat or a full food bowl! But with the help of my foster family, I've slimmed down to a healthier weight that makes me feel fantastic! I tend to be a bit lazy so I'll need your help encouraging me to exercise and to keep me on track with a balanced diet. Being outside in the fresh air is my ultimate happy place, whether we're strolling the neighborhood on a leash or romping around in a fenced yard. That's where my true personality shines! I've shared so much about myself. I'd love to learn about you! If you think you would be my perfect furever family, apply today at www.zoeshouserescue.com. Lollipop is spayed and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. She has had zero potty mishaps since being in foster care, however, regression is normal when transitioning into a new place. Lollipop is being fostered in Lancaster County. Potential adopters will need to travel to Lancaster for a meet and greet with all family members including current residential dogs.
