Story
Beulah needs a quiet home with someone who can give her lots of attention. She was my mothers constant companion. My mother passed away in December. Beaulah would do very well with a single woman or older couple. Beulah can be high strung and takes medicine for her skin daily (apoquel) and also an anxiety medicine when she has an event (vet visit, visitors to the home, etc.). She would not do well with children. She does not like to be grabbed or reached for - she loves to come to you. She does best when meeting people if she is ignored and allowed to come to the new person at her own pace. She does very well when she is the initiator. She does not bark unless someone comes to the door. She rides well in the car and walks on leash. She is potty trained, crate trained and sleeps well in her own bed. She loves to be outside (weather permitting -she cannot be out in really warm weather). She has bursts of energy - loves to play with her stuffed toys and small balls.

Story
Penny is a four year old, 25 lb French Bulldog. Foster mom says that Penny is super funny. One of the Frenchie's best traits is that they keep you smiling and laughing! She likes to play with toys, play with other dogs, go for walks, sleep on the couch, and she loves to eat. Penny is housetrained, most of the time, but when it's cold and rainy, she's not 100% She hasn't been around little kids, but she is so sweet, we think she would be fine with kids over the age of 6. Penny has some allergy issues, which is very common with Frenchies. She is taking a daily serum which keeps the allergies under control. The first step to meeting Penny is to submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

My life's like a superhero comic book. Once, I was just an ordinary dog, until I swallowed a strange glowing stone during a game of fetch. Suddenly, I could understand humans and animals alike! With my new powers, I helped countless furry friends find their forever homes. However, the stone's power was temporary, and I ended up here at the shelter. But don't worry, I didn't lose my playful spirit! I'm still the same friendly, funny, energetic girl. I love playing and making people laugh. I'm ready to bring joy and laughter to your home. Adopt me and let's create our own superhero story together!April 14, 2025, 7:20 am

Story
Belle was born January 18, 2022. She is a very active inside dog who loves to go on the occasional walk. She does well with other dogs and children. However, she will do best in a home that can provide her lots of attention and not leave her for long periods of time. She has separation anxiety and will bark/yelp until she receives the attention she demands. Ignoring her will only exacerbate the anxiety. She is house trained, however if she is left alone too long she will retaliate by leaving you a nice surprise. She has no sense of personal space and will be your shadow, just waiting for the moment for your to sit down so she can jump up and get snuggles. Although it says she is a "long timer" on this site, she was placed in a new home for a few months. Her new family had a change in dynamics and could no longer care for her. They wanted to give her to a breeder but instead we took her back in and had her fixed. We can not provide her the attention she needs and deserves.

Story
Bowser is a loving, amazing Frenchie that I have loved having in my life. I recently married & need to re-home Bowser due to my wife's allergies. Bowser has no behavioral issues. He is quiet, does not bark frequently, is friendly with all humans and pets that have been introduced to him. He has been around young children and does well w/ them. He has not been around horses or any sorts of animals you would not see outside of a city setting, though. The only "issues" I would call out are as follows. He is mostly house trained. If you take him our two or three times a day, you should have no problems. I use a doggie diaper with him if I need to be away for an extended period in the day. He also has a distinct snort of snuffle he does; I find it cute, it's possible that noise sensitive people may not like it. 60% of the time he is sleeping anyway and is totally quiet, but when he walks around the house you may hear him snorting from time to time.
