YES - YOU SAW IT RIGHT --- FRENCH BULLDOG AND ROTTWEILER!!!!! DNA PROVES IT. BUSTER IS THE SIZE OF A FRENCH BULLDOG BUT THE COLORING OF A ROTTIE!! I know it puts a tremendous amount of pressure to be labeled "perfect", but Buster is about as perfect a dog as you can get! Fabulous personality and temperament! He is the "protector" of this little family even though he is the smallest. SMART, LOVING, PRECIOUS! All the pups are waiting to go outside to potty. They are kennel trained. Story
Oddie is adorable, sweet, happy healthy little guy now. This poor guy was surrendered to the shelter with a prolapsed rectum, they coached the owner on what to do to help this poor little guy who was miserable, but he didn't want to do what was needed. He needed immediate help as this condition cannot go untreated, so we were able to get someone to take him to the ER in STX for treatment and then get him into foster care as soon as possible. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
I'm a sweet cuddly 3 yr old female French Bulldog. I'm easy going until someone gets too close to my food! (My food is my food ). My foster momma puts me & my food in my crate so I don't have to get as anxious about it! I love to play with all of the other fur friends here. I really like all of my fur friends. I also enjoy sitting next to my foster mom on the couch while she works. I am potty trained as well as crate trained. I like my foster mom's nephews. They came and played with me one day. My last foster mom said I like cats as well. I have some eye cream that goes in my eyes at the moment. I also had to have surgery on one of my ears. The infection was just too bad. They had to remove my ear drum. I have healed up from surgery. Even though I can only hear out of one ear, it doesn't slow me down one bit. They say that it will take a while for the nerves in my face/ head to heal. One of my ears is floppy and that side of my face is paralyzed too. I can't wait to be 100% healed; so everyone can see the new and improved Indigo!! I'm a pretty easy going girl. I am ready to find my FurEver home!! Indigo was used for breeding. Mom to the baguettes, unfortunately she lost her value to owners after having sick puppies. She deserves all the love now!

Story
Hi, I'm Felix! Before I start telling you about myself, I wanted to tell you that I love you. I know we haven't met yet, but I know I love you because I love just about everybody. I'm a 2-year-old male French Bulldog. I am crate-trained, potty trained (aside from the very occasional marking) and love people of all ages. My favorite things in the world are my people, stuffed toys, extra soft dog beds, and sunning myself. I am big on affection: I like giving people kisses, climbing onto your lap, and following you around the house. My foster dad says I have an 85% return rate while playing fetch. My favorite fetch tactic though is to sit on my toy while I catch my breath. I seem to like other dogs, but sometimes I can be too excited and try to play with them without "reading the room" (whatever that means). I've never been around cats, so my foster parents aren't sure how I would do with them. My foster parents think I'd do best with a family with kids ages 12 or above. They say that I am a "bull in a China shop" and that I may accidentally knock a kid over while I'm playing because I am so low to the ground and solid. I'd be happy in an apartment or in a house, and I would be content with or without another dog in the home. If I seem like a good fit for you and your family, apply to adopt me!

Story
Hello there, my name is Biggie and I am about 9 years old.  I am an adorable senior boy who loves in a big way!  I am a certified snuggler!  I’m a very good boy, I like kids and other dogs – although I need to eat by myself.  One important thing to know about me is that I have a spine condition called IVDD, which means that I need a low activity level and need to make sure I don’t go up and down stairs or jump up or down off of furniture, but nice slow walks on the leash are good for me!  I walk okay for now, but I need adopters who will keep me safe so I can continue walking well!  This also means I have an accident every now and then, since I don’t move very fast, and I would do best in a home without small children.  I don’t like to be alone very much, so I will also need an adopter who works from home or is retired so they can spend lots of time with me!   If you are looking for a real snuggler, though, I am definitely your guy!!  My adoption fee is $325.  NO STAIRS, NO JUMPING. If you are interested in any of our Boston Terriers or would like to be eligible to adopt a Boston Terrier through our rescue in the future, please fill out an application. It can be found at www.texasbostons.com. Click on the Rescue tab and then on the Adopt Now! tab. Here you will find our adoption requirements along with a link for an online adoption application. This will allow you to get on our list of approved homes so you can immediately adopt a Boston Terrier when it becomes available through Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at www.texasbostons.com. Story
Bonjour everyone! My name is Ronald and I’m a handsome, 1.5  year old, 37 pound Frenchie. My foster mom says I’m super affectionate and friendly. I am house and crate trained and car rides are ok if I can be with you. .I need to be an only dog as  I like all the attention. I absolutely love toys and playing tug. I will even play with my toys by myself. I still act like a puppy and I need a family that understands that and can help continue my manners training. I’m a big boy and I can be too much for young kids, but I am great with older kids. My ideal home would be an active family who could shower me with attention and teach me boundaries,  I'd love  a yard to run and play in. I do have some allergies but they can be controlled with medicated baths and occasional allergy shots. I am a happy boy who is looking for a family or a person to love. Could that be you?  My adoption fee is $825. MUST BE AN ONLY DOG. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Darling little Cherry is a 4 1/2-month-old Boston pup who has a cherry eye. She will be seeing the vet soon for a full evaluation and we will schedule her surgery once she has a complete work-up. Cherry is extremely affectionate, and she does really well with young children and other dogs. Her foster family raves about her, and she's got a real fan club in the two young girls with whom she shares her current home. More to come after her next vet visit! Note: We are not accepting applications for Cherry at this time. Once she's medically cleared, we will open the flood gates. <3 If you have questions specifically about Cherry, please email us at info@abtrr.org. Cherry is being fostered in the Tulsa, OK area. While we do have a phone number, we have a very small volunteer base and we are often unable to return phone calls in a timely manner. Thank you! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Charlie was hit by a car and sustained a fractured spine, traumatic brain injury, severe road rash to both his eyes and his body.  He spent two months in the hospital recovering from his injuries. We were able to save both his eyes, but he does have limited vision in them. He is currently a paraplegic and gets around in a wheelchair, but he is gaining more and more use of his legs every day. Our hope that he will be able to walk on all fours again in the future. He does have some issues with controlling his bladder.  This is related to his fractured spine.  As this heals, his control increases. If you would like to donate towards Charlie's monthly care, send your donation to: Paypal: @abtrtx or fundraiser@rescuebostons.org Zelle: info@abtrr.org Venmo: @Heidi-Murphy-68 Ca$hApp: $   beandogmom &#226&#128&#139Snail Mail: ABTRR, PO Box 1286, Little Elm, TX 75068 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 2:40 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you're within a reasonable driving distance of Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX, we'd love to hear from you if you're interested in fostering (or adopting) our special little man!   Romeo loves to play, play, play - and we are baffled… Why hasn’t he been adopted yet? He is about 1 yr old, UTD on vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative and on prevention, crate trained, dog, cat, and rooster friendly. He loves playing with toys and will play ALL DAY long. He is house trained, but unfortunately due to the bad hand he was dealt, he requires diapers because he can't control his bowels. He does go outside to potty when he is able to let you know he needs to pee, and he lets you clean him and put on his diaper. This does not slow him down AT ALL. Romeo doesn't know he's different. He’s all BT puppy! He would love a family or foster home where he will get some puppy training with LOTS of love and attention (play time!). If interested, please complete an application at www.abtrr.org. We'd appreciate it if you'd share his story with your BT-loving friends! ************************************************************************ Romeo has quite a history for such a young pup! Romeo's Background: Romeo came to us at about 7 months old from another rescue where he’d a coloplexy to repair a prolapse. He continued to experience multiple issues that could not be resolved by the vet and the foster home was unable to continue to care for him, so the rescue reached out to us for support and the rest is history. (This is a great example of how rescues can work together to help more dogs.) We had Romeo assessed by our veterinary chiropractors and they began a rehabilitation program to help him develop some bowel control. Things were progressing nicely until an unexpected turn of events occurred. Romeo's foster mom returned home from work one day to find him safe in his crate, but with a gaping hole near his rear end. After an emergency vet visit, we learned that Romeo's nubby tail has somehow been broken and over time the broken pieces rubbed together to create a subcutaneous abscess that ruptured. Little Romeo was scheduled for his third surgery to amputate his broken/unattached tail. The surgery went well, but Romeo developed a pretty serious infection while still at the vet hospital, so his stay ended up being extended by about a week. The infection was pretty persistent, but it was finally cleared up and he's now home. Through it all, Romeo remained a happy, wiggly, and BUSY little guy.  Romeo's Current Status: Romeo is, and will likely remain, bowel incontinent. The strides made toward helping him develop some bowel control were erased by the amputation of his tail. He currently wears diapers, which he has become accustomed to. He lets his foster mom change and clean him without a fuss. He's an active, happy little guy who loves to play, play, play, and he's great with other dogs. Romeo takes a bit to warm up to new people, but he's very sweet once he accepts you.  All adoptions begin with our online application at www.abtrr.org. Please note that Romeo is being fostered in the Central Texas area. If you have questions about Romeo, please email us at info@abtrr.org. While we do have a phone number, we have a very small volunteer base, and we are often unable to return phone calls in a timely manner. Thank you! If you would like to donate towards Romeo's monthly care, please send your donation to: Paypal: @abtrtx or fundraiser@rescuebostons.org Zelle: info@abtrr.org Venmo: @Heidi-Murphy-68 Ca$hApp: $ beandogmom &#226&#128&#139Snail Mail: ABTRR, PO Box 1286, Little Elm, TX 75068    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 2:40 pm
