Beau’s past was heartbreaking. He was used for breeding and cruelly discarded when he was no longer “useful.” He was found abandoned outside an apartment complex in North Texas in poor condition, suffering from severe skin infections, painful ear infections, and damage to his only remaining eye (his other eye had already been removed). Thanks to dedicated veterinary care, patience, and lots of love, Beau has healed and is now ready for a fresh start. About Beau • Potty and kennel trained • Enjoys spending time in his kennel and sees it as a safe space • Has limited vision, but excellent hearing and gets around just fine • Loves people, belly rubs, gentle affection, and being close to his humans • Playful and sweet once he feels safe • Calm and chill once he knows you Because Beau was never properly socialized as a puppy, he is dog reactive and will need to be an only dog or time to adjust to a calm non reactive dog. He would also do best in a home without children, as sudden movements can scare him due to his limited vision. Beau needs a patient, loving person who understands that trust takes time. Once that bond is built, he is deeply loyal and affectionate. His foster mom is his favorite person, and he thrives with consistent love and reassurance. Story

Tater has been doing very well in his foster home since being returned to our care after four years. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve gotten to know him again, and one thing is clear—he is an incredibly sweet and loving dog. Tater is well-behaved, quiet, and laid-back. He was returned because he began guarding his adopters from the other dog in the home, whom he had lived with since puppyhood. We offered to send a trainer, but after learning they had moved to Ohio, it became clear that long-distance support wouldn’t be an option. Given how long this behavior has gone unaddressed, we believe Tater would do best as an only dog. That said, Tater enjoys going on walks, does well on a leash, and is not reactive to other dogs. He loves people, including children, and is both house trained and crate trained. Tater is a 4 1/2 year old English Bulldog/Pit Bull mix. Hi, I'm Dollar, I'm 4 years old, and I'm an English Bulldog. I'm very friendly with children and other dogs. My only problem is that I snore a lot when I sleep, haha. My dear Dollar needs a new home. It breaks my heart to have to part with him, but we're going through a difficult financial situation and can't afford to take him to the vet. He had fleas, and we gave him Bravecto, but he lost some of his fur. Dollar is super affectionate and patient. We're looking for a home where he'll receive all the love in the world and have a better life.
