Story
Ernie loves attention and being with his human(s) as much as possible. He gets along with other dogs and lives with dogs of all sizes and ages in his foster home. He would be a great travel companion as he loves to go for rides and make new friends. He is good on a leash and would enjoy walks, but of course, with all brachycephalic breeds, his humans have to be cautious of hot weather (especially when it is humid) even more than other breeds. He is not yet house or crate trained and needs someone who will take him out on a regular basis and continue with that training. We feel he might have been in a breeding situation and was kept crated most of the time, so this is taking longer than usual. He has great manners otherwise and is just an outgoing and loving boy.He is current with his vetting - all vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Bert and his brother Ernie came into rescue together, and we think they were used for breeding. Like his brother, Bert loves attention and being with his human(s) as much as possible. Bert is crate-trained and will ask to go out before going inside. Since his foster mom is home most of the time, he has not had any issues, but he might need more training if left alone for several hours. He is fully vetted - current with vaccines, neutered, micro chipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Mabel Jean, the Chillest Little Potato You’ll Ever Meet If you have been searching for a low key, gentle, snorty little sidekick, your girl has officially arrived. Meet Mabel Jean. Professional sunbather. Champion snorer. Queen of minding her own business. This sweet, short, wiggly mama is: • super chill and easy going • great with dogs, cats, and kids • crate trained • mostly potty trained with the occasional “my bad” moment • a quiet snorter who sounds like a tiny old man taking a nap • ridiculously adorable without trying Mabel Jean also comes with what we lovingly call her cute little wrestler ear. She has a few hematomas that give her this “I just won my title match” look. Honestly, it only makes her cuter. You can see in her photos: she sits like a tiny mob boss, naps like she pays the bills, and lounges like she owns the house. She is kind. She is calm. She is a sweetheart who just wants love and a soft bed. If you want an easy, funny, low maintenance best friend, this girl is it. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Hi, I’m Jolene! I may be just over a year old, but I’ve already mastered the art of being the perfect companion. I’m a beautiful merle Frenchie girl with a soft heart and a playful soul. At 24 pounds, I’m the ideal size for couch cuddles, car rides, and everything in between. I love hanging out with my foster siblings—we play, nap, and just enjoy each other’s company. I’m house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, so I’ve got all the basics down. I’m also a great eater (no picky habits here!), which makes me easy to care for. People say I’m super sweet and gentle, and I take that as the highest compliment. I love to cuddle and will happily melt into your arms for a nap. I’m relaxed and easygoing, but I’ve also got a playful side that comes out when the mood is right. And car rides? I’m a pro—I’ll curl up and snooze while you drive. I do have seasonal allergies and sometimes need my medication. If you’re looking for a loving, low-key pup who’s ready to be your best friend, I’d love to meet you. I’ve got so much love to give, and I can’t wait to share it with my forever family. My adoption fee is $825. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at Foster Application | Boston Terrier Rescue Of North Texas. This will allow you to possibly become a foster home for one of our little Boston Terriers in need. Story
Hi, I’m Samson—but my friends call me Sammie. I’m a 9 month-old Boston Terrier/Frenchie mix with a big heart, a gentle soul, and a whole lot of puppy charm. I may be young, but I’ve already learned how to love life—especially when it involves bones, toys, and romping around the yard. Grass, leaves, sticks… if it’s outside, I’m into it. I’m treat-motivated (hint hint), crate trained, and working on my puppy manners every day. I love all people and all dogs—truly, I’ve never met a stranger. I’m cuddly, easygoing, and gentle, with a soft spot for snuggling up after playtime. I’d be so happy to have a doggy friend to share my adventures and naps with. Life hasn’t always been easy for me. My back legs are a little wobbly, and I’ll have some long-term mobility challenges. But here’s the thing—I don’t know I’m different, and I don’t let it slow me down. I run, I play, I explore, and I love with everything I’ve got. I’m looking for a family who sees me for who I am: a joyful, resilient pup who just wants to be loved and supported. If you’re ready to help me grow into the best version of myself—with patience, kindness, and a whole lot of belly rubs—I’m ready to give you my whole heart. My adoption fee is $675.  NO CHILDREN UNDER 10.  Available early September. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! We are always looking for good foster homes. Story
Hi, I’m Winston — a 2&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old, 13&#226&#128&#145pound Frenchie with a big personality packed into a tiny, adorable body. I’m the kind of little guy who makes friends everywhere I go. I’m extremely social, I play beautifully with other dogs, and I absolutely adore people. If you’re looking for a shadow, a snuggle buddy, and a built&#226&#128&#145in mood booster, I’m your boy. My favorite thing in the whole world is being rocked like a baby. I’ll curl right into your arms, sigh the sweetest little sigh, and fall asleep. It melts hearts on a daily basis. I do have some special needs, so I’m hoping for a family where someone is home often. I have chronic IBD, which means I’ll be on a special diet and lifelong medication to keep me feeling my best. I eat Hill’s Gastrointestinal Biome (about $138.99 for a 27.5&#226&#128&#145lb bag),and I take occasional medicine (Tylan) for flare ups which is very inexpensive, my rescue can share more details so you know exactly what to expect. Even with my medical needs, I’m a happy, playful, joyful little guy. I love going on walks, hopping in the car for adventures, and playing tug of war with my dog friends. I’m house trained, potty&#226&#128&#145pad trained, crate trained for short periods of time, and I’m a big fan of squeaky toys and stuffed animals. I’m looking for a family who can give me the love, time, and consistency I need — and in return, I’ll give you endless affection, cuddles, and that special kind of Frenchie charm that makes every day brighter. My adoption fee is $850. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! We are always looking for good foster homes.
