Jinx is one of sixteen puppies being given away in a Parking lot at roughly 2 weeks of age.  The mom had passed away and the family did not know how to care for this many pups.  A good samaratin took one and offered to foster for us. Jinx is now 8 weeks old and weighs 5.6 lbs. Per Wisdom Panel, Jinx is a mix of 11 different breeds with the top 3 being Pug, Pit Bull and Miniature American Shepherd mix. He is estimated to be 31-55 lbs when full grown. Jinx is currently working on potty training and how to sit on command. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, micochipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
