Story
Ernie loves attention and being with his human(s) as much as possible. He gets along with other dogs and lives with dogs of all sizes and ages in his foster home. He would be a great travel companion as he loves to go for rides and make new friends. He is good on a leash and would enjoy walks, but of course, with all brachycephalic breeds, his humans have to be cautious of hot weather (especially when it is humid) even more than other breeds. He is not yet house or crate trained and needs someone who will take him out on a regular basis and continue with that training. We feel he might have been in a breeding situation and was kept crated most of the time, so this is taking longer than usual. He has great manners otherwise and is just an outgoing and loving boy.He is current with his vetting - all vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Bert and his brother Ernie came into rescue together, and we think they were used for breeding. Like his brother, Bert loves attention and being with his human(s) as much as possible. Bert is crate-trained and will ask to go out before going inside. Since his foster mom is home most of the time, he has not had any issues, but he might need more training if left alone for several hours. He is fully vetted - current with vaccines, neutered, micro chipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Mabel Jean, the Chillest Little Potato You’ll Ever Meet If you have been searching for a low key, gentle, snorty little sidekick, your girl has officially arrived. Meet Mabel Jean. Professional sunbather. Champion snorer. Queen of minding her own business. This sweet, short, wiggly mama is: • super chill and easy going • great with dogs, cats, and kids • crate trained • mostly potty trained with the occasional “my bad” moment • a quiet snorter who sounds like a tiny old man taking a nap • ridiculously adorable without trying Mabel Jean also comes with what we lovingly call her cute little wrestler ear. She has a few hematomas that give her this “I just won my title match” look. Honestly, it only makes her cuter. You can see in her photos: she sits like a tiny mob boss, naps like she pays the bills, and lounges like she owns the house. She is kind. She is calm. She is a sweetheart who just wants love and a soft bed. If you want an easy, funny, low maintenance best friend, this girl is it. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Hi, I’m Jolene! I may be just over a year old, but I’ve already mastered the art of being the perfect companion. I’m a beautiful merle Frenchie girl with a soft heart and a playful soul. At 24 pounds, I’m the ideal size for couch cuddles, car rides, and everything in between. I love hanging out with my foster siblings—we play, nap, and just enjoy each other’s company. I’m house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, so I’ve got all the basics down. I’m also a great eater (no picky habits here!), which makes me easy to care for. People say I’m super sweet and gentle, and I take that as the highest compliment. I love to cuddle and will happily melt into your arms for a nap. I’m relaxed and easygoing, but I’ve also got a playful side that comes out when the mood is right.  I will do best in an all female home or a home where there is at least one female family member. I'm a little shy with men. And car rides? I’m a pro—I’ll curl up and snooze while you drive. I do have seasonal allergies and sometimes need my medication. If you’re looking for a loving, low-key pup who’s ready to be your best friend, I’d love to meet you. I’ve got so much love to give, and I can’t wait to share it with my forever family. My adoption fee is $825. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at Foster Application | Boston Terrier Rescue Of North Texas. This will allow you to possibly become a foster home for one of our little Boston Terriers in need. Thank you for considering the possibility of fostering for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas!   Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts!  February 3, 2026, 12:36 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Rio! I’m a two-year-old chocolate Frenchie, and if you’re wondering—yes, I really am as cute as I sound. I’m just 20 pounds of snuggles, sunshine, and squeaky rubber footballs (mine has an arrow on it, and yes, I take it everywhere...even to the vet!). I’m one of those rare dogs who shares his toys, loves his people, and makes friends wherever I go. I don’t guard; I don’t grumble—I just play! I get along great with kids and other dogs, and if you’ve got a doggy buddy for me, even better. I’m house-trained, I know how to use a doggy door, and I’m an A+ snuggler when it’s time to wind down. Here’s the part where I need a little extra TLC: I have a sensitive tummy, so I’m on a strict diet with my special food and supplements—Purina Elemental and a sprinkle of ForteFlora with vitamin B12. This costs $130 for a 16.5 pound bag. No treats for me (I know, tragic), but I’m still a happy, tail-wiggling boy who doesn’t let it get me down. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a playful streak and a forever love for plush footballs, I might just be your perfect match.   Because of these  special   needs , BTRNT knows Rio's adopter must be someone committed to giving him the care he deserves. To help him find that perfect match, his adoption fee will be waived-instead, we'll ask for a donation. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! Story
Hi, I’m Moto — a golden Frenchie with a heart that shines just as bright as my coat. I’m 2½ years old, weigh 34 pounds, and I’m all about love, play, and snuggles. I absolutely adore my people and thrive on attention and affection. I’m playful, cuddly, and happiest when I’m the center of your world. Whether it’s chasing a ball, going for a walk, or curling up on the couch, I’m always ready to share life’s simple joys with you. I’m house trained, doggie-door savvy, and leash trained, so I’m a pro at keeping up with family routines. I’m gentle and sweet, but I’ll do best in a home with older, considerate kids who understand my need for calm and respect. I also need to be the only dog in the home — I like having my humans all to myself. That said, I’m working with a trainer to learn how to be around other doggies, and I’m making progress. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with love, keep you smiling with playful energy, and snuggle by your side every day, I’m your guy. My adoption fee is $850. Story
Meet Zaida - Your Velcro Snuggle-Bug With the World’s Sweetest Paw-PatsZaida has boomeranged back to Hillcrest Animal Rescue through no fault of her own, and she trotted in the door as if she had never missed a single treat-time. This lovely girl greets everyone with a wag and quickly zeroes in on her person, where she prefers to stay, preferably curled up in a lap or pressed against your leg.Why you will fall for Zaida- Cuddle queen: She dishes out head-nuzzles, soulful adopt-me eyes, and the most adorable playful paw taps when she wants attention (which is often).- Social butterfly: Zaida generally plays well with other dogs, but she is still learning that not every pup loves a nose-to-nose hugs, so gentle reminders and calm introductions keep everyone happy.- Happy-go-bouncy: She can rev from 0 to 60 with excitement - think zoomies and wiggle-butt dance - so her best home will keep the hype low and the chill vibes high. A little structured play followed by snuggle time is her perfect day.- Velcro vibe: Expect a four-legged shadow. Whether you are binge-watching or answering emails, Zaida will be right there, offering moral support (and maybe sneaking in a few kisses).Zaidas ideal home- People who love affection and do not mind a dog that occasionally forgets the concept of personal space.- A moderately active household that balances play with downtime; over-stimulation can make her a tad overwrought.- Respectful canine companions are welcome with proper intros; she would also thrive as your one-and-only snuggle partner.Health & adoption details- Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negativeReady for a lifetime of cuddles and paw-pat reminders that you are loved?
