Apple is famously gentle when taking treats, has great manners in the house, and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night. She’s potty trained, crate-trained, and learning her leash skills like a champ—especially since she’s highly food-motivated and eager to please. Apple gets along well with other dogs, especially once she’s had time to settle in. She prefers calm playmates who match her easygoing vibe—none of that big-dog, high-speed chaos for her, thank you very much. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Born in June 2024, Ash is a young, energetic boy weighing in at a sturdy 28.8 pounds. Ash is the ultimate social butterfly. He was originally surrendered to the rescue after his family moved. They originally left him with his grandparents, but they had their own dogs and it became overwhelming for the family. Despite the change, Ash has remained incredibly friendly, happy, and resilient. Alaska is a little girl who came running to the shelter to hide, we assume she was scared after being run over. At first glance we saw that she had a fracture in her hind leg, her first visit to the vet was to prepare her for an amputation, since her leg was beyond repair. After her recovery, she began to prepare to find her new home, currently she already has her vaccinations up to date, she is spayed and ready. She is a very pampered dog, like a big girl, waiting for love, affection and lots of cuddles, she likes to go for walks, eager to see new places, always happy, following you everywhere. She is very curious, elated to see you, and such an adorable, smart little girl. The fact that she is missing her leg does not stop her, she runs, plays and can even jump, she has adapted quite well to her new life. She is still a puppy, she will barely be a year old, she will not grow any more, she is medium, around 28 pounds. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington.
