Story
Winston is 3 years old from a home breeder. He has some skin issues, but otherwise he’s healthy, no hip, eye or breathing issues. He loves kids and is good with other dogs. We had a cat when we first got him, but he did like to chase her, and was about the only thing he that ever made him bark. He’s a good boy that sits, stays, and will put his “paws” on your knee for a treat. He loves to play with his frisbee the most, and will do just about anything for a ball. He can jump surprisingly high for a Frenchie when he’s excited. He loves splooting outside in the sun, going for short walks, and playing chase. He’s also a cuddler. He should never, and I mean never, have dog food or treats with chicken meat/products unless you are ready for the stinkiest gas and poop. I have tried to keep him grain-free as well for his skin. Higher protein foods with salmon, beef, or lamb seem are best. I am struggling to give him enough time and attention due my health problems and my husband’s allergies.

Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey!   You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!    The adoption fee is $1,600 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!    We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.    Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!    Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.   Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:   Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!   Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? Story
Juno comes with his own built-in wink, just for you of course, a round little rollie pollie Frenchie body, and a firm belief that tennis balls are to be thrown, rarely taken though. Estimated to be around 3 years old, weighing 26 pounds, and looking every bit like a classic French Bulldog, Juno is a rescue though, so breed and age are simply our best guess. What we know for certain is that he is a happy, people-loving little goofball who seems determined to fight off any blues or moods that are trying to weigh you down. His first line of defense? Himself, duh! He knows he is joyful entertainment. Go watch Juno Jolly Wink | One-Eyed Tennis Ball Enthusiast on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this adorable little character. https://youtu.be/dDa1B30WrLU Juno is the kind of dog who makes people giggle. Maybe it's the winking face courtesy of his one eye. Maybe it's his delightfully rollie-pollie shape. Maybe it's the fact that he can catch a tennis ball right out of the air like a tiny athlete (sometimes.) Whatever it is, he has a way of making himself the star of the show. His favorite hobby is fetch... sort of. Juno fully understands the "throw the ball" portion of the game. The "bring it back" portion also consistent. The “drop it” remains under review. It’s almost like he takes a detour into tug-o-war town without announcing the stop. Basically, he is currently operating under a throw-only policy and sees no reason to change it. Fortunately, he also has a very short term memory and within 10 seconds ends up dropping the ball because he nearly forgot he was on a mission, thus resetting the fetch look in the most comical way! He is lucky he is cute enough that most people are willing to overlook this minor technicality. While Juno can be polite around other dogs, he doesn't seem particularly interested in making canine best friends. He is much more focused on his people and would happily spend his time soaking up attention, following his humans around, and being involved in whatever is happening. He also met our house cat and was very curious and respectful overall. Based on what we observed, we think he could potentially live with a dog-savvy cat who isn't afraid to set a boundary or two if Juno gets a little too interested in forging a friendship with his bully-based intro. One of Juno's more charming qualities is how much he enjoys being loved on. Pick him up, hold him like a baby, give him attention, and he'll happily soak it all in. He is affectionate, friendly, and genuinely enjoys being close to his people. How do we know this? Well, the wiggles, the air chomps and the sparkle in his eye of course! If you're looking for a dog who combines Frenchie charm, a permanent flirtatious wink, surprising tennis ball skills, and a personality guaranteed to keep you laughing, Juno is exactly the little sidekick you've been waiting for. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bonjour! I’m Jacque — a French Bulldog with a big heart and a soft spot for naps. I was born on October 15, 2024, and I’m just starting to discover how fun life can be. I came here with my brother after our previous owner realized they couldn’t care for us financially. When we arrived, we both had some pretty rough skin issues, including hair loss and fleas. But don’t worry—I’m already on the road to feeling much better and getting healthier every day! I’m a very sweet boy, and I’m learning what love, playtime, and affection are all about. It’s all still a little new to me, but I like it… a lot. Frenchies like me are usually playful, silly, and full of energy—and I’m sure that side of me will come out more and more as I gain confidence. Right now, my absolute favorite thing to do is curl up on my doggy couch and take a good nap. It’s kind of my specialty. I do not know how to walk on a leash. My previously family never showed me what a leash was, so I will need some training.  I’m neutered, vaccinated, current on ProHeart 12, protected with Bravecto, and I tested negative on my 4DX—so I’m all set to find my forever home! My adoption fee is $500. If you’re ready to welcome me into your life, you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org . I’m currently in Texas, but I can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, or along the East Coast. If I need a ride, there’s an additional $250 transport fee. (I can’t travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to regulations.)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 6, 2026, 1:08 pm
