Story
Nola is a loyal and loving dog with lots of love to give! She got her name because she showed up at her fosters house the day of the Super Bowl! She walked right into their house, and fit right in with friends and family that they had over to watch the big game! Everyone fell in love with her instantly. Are you ready to fall in love with her too? Watch her here! https://youtu.be/xDm4dgcDOd4?si=gIouhndw4kmbDLNH Nola is hard of hearing, but you can get her attention with a high pitched whistle! She’s never too far from someone, so she will respond quickly! She is a friendly and playful girl who is always up for some fun in the yard or a nice neighborhood stroll. Despite her size she can be very athletic and loves to run around and explore. She is also a major cuddle bug, she loves to jump up on the couch. Her foster family calls her their couch hippo! Nola really loves toys, and she needs supervision with them. Toys are just too fun! She loves movie nights the most! Nola is the perfect companion for someone who’s looking for a loyal and affectionate companion. Because Nola is a little hard of hearing, we think she could definitely rock living in an apartment! She is fostered with two little girls and two female dogs. She is very kid friendly! Nola would be an amazing family dog. Are you ready to open your heart and your home for her? We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Being fostered in Seattle wa! If you like your dogs small in size, big on love, and perfect in personality- Meet Jelly Bean! She is absolute perfection- fun size like a little Snickers, a lap lover, friend to all, playful, Queen of the Sploot and simply an all around good time! To truly understand the description you have to watch her video. Her size is much easier to grasp that way. We suspect she is a French Bulldog/Bulldog mix but, just visually, she is a mini-boxer. Given she is a rescue we cannot say with 100% certainty her breed or age. Estimated to be somewhere in the 1.5-2 year range, she weighs 30 lbs. If you adopt her and opt for a DNA test, please share the results. We love updates and DNA results are a favorite! https://youtu.be/N1ecUzNaChU Let me really introduce you to Jelly bean, first, she is so fortunate to be waiting for her adoption day in a wonderful foster family home. Her foster has shared that she is just a joy to have around and has been an easy addition to their home. From tagging along on adventures with the kids to relaxing in the back yard, Jelly Bean is just easy company. She shared that she is fully house trained and took to using the doggy door within the first day at home. Her foster home consists of two parents and two kids. She is great with the kids who are 11 and 12. They love that she likes to tag along when they head to the creek to fish or hop in the car to go get a snow cone. The foster mom says that Jelly Bean is absolutely the best car-rider she has ever fostered. Bean sits quietly in the back seat, choosing the middle space, and just hangs out. The fact that she isn’t jumping around or bothering the kids makes it easy to let her join for dog-friendly errands or treat runs. Plus, her size only adds to the ease. She has bursts of energy that are immediately followed by sploot sessions. She is the queen of a sploot and honestly, we don’t know if she ever chooses another position. A flying super hero is what she looks like and it is a solid 10 out of 10 on the cuteness scale. She has fully mastered sit and has a great default sit when waiting for a treat or for her food to be served. She did show off a little dance though we don’t know if it is a “trick” or just a cute little thing she does. Her dream home has some flexibility. She is quiet, her foster only has heard her bark one time, and she has solid leash skills so she could easily be an apartment girlie. Just the same, house with a yard life looks good on her and it gives her a natural outlet for her playful energy and random zoooms. She will benefit from regular walks, enrichment, on-going socializing to be satisfied. In the same way, she would be wonderful in a family, with slightly older kids being the best fit, 5+, as she can be eager for love and occasionally jump up in a way that could knock over a little one on unsteady legs. I could also easily see her being the absolute best fur-baby for a couple or perfect co-pilot for a solo-flying bachelor/bachelorette. Jelly Bean would do best in a cat free home. She is very interested in cats and goes in for an overly eager chase, which whether playful or not, stresses cats out and that is no fun. Jelly is a loving, playful, affectionate sweetheart who is ready to scooch in close, and maybe sneak a gentle kiss within a few moment of meeting you. Not in a pushy way though, her approach is gentle and so friendly. We were all impressed by how balanced her energy is, Sh With her easy-going nature and love for people, she is sure to be an adored and cherished companion for any family or individual looking for petite perfection! Story
When I was found wandering in a neighborhood, I had a stinky situation ;( Apparently whoever had me, didn't know what to do for my "stinky situation" and let me go :( So, I had a prolapsed rectum likely due to either genetics or a food allergy, and lots of diarrhea.. however, the rescuers sent me STRAIGHT to the vet and my corrective surgery was performed!! Now it had taken me about 6 weeks to be more normal in the poop department but my new fosters has kept me on the hydrolyzed protein food and not too much to eat all the time... as a frenchie i will eat WHATEVER you give me and MORE, so to keep my girlish figure and to prevent excess poop... and I am in the "all better" department now!! I had a "colonplasty" which is a corrective surgery and should be ALL I need. Now to the FUN part!! I am all frenchie :) Cute, smart, playful, loving and kind of goofy too. I am great with everyone i meet and I LOVE to meet new people and friends. I want a really nice family who will take great care of me, with a friend or two? I am waiting and you are looking, lets meet and be together furever!! Local adoption fee is $500 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $750, includes transport to your area)

Story
Alaska is a little girl who came running to the shelter to hide, we assume she was scared after being run over. At first glance we saw that she had a fracture in her hind leg, her first visit to the vet was to prepare her for an amputation, since her leg was beyond repair. After her recovery, she began to prepare to find her new home, currently she already has her vaccinations up to date, she is spayed and ready. She is a very pampered dog, like a big girl, waiting for love, affection and lots of cuddles, she likes to go for walks, eager to see new places, always happy, following you everywhere. She is very curious, elated to see you, and such an adorable, smart little girl. The fact that she is missing her leg does not stop her, she runs, plays and can even jump, she has adapted quite well to her new life. She is still a puppy, she will barely be a year old, she will not grow any more, she is medium, around 28 pounds. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Story
HI - I'M JULIETTE! (JULES FOR SHORT) I'm a 2-year-old sweet French Bulldog in need of a forever home! I was rescued from a crowded California shelter, where I became urgent because I have a leg injury. Thankfully I was rescued, and the vet said it's an old injury, and there's not much we can do at this point. Despite all of this, I get along just great! I am currently in a foster home with another dog, where we hang out, enjoy the sunshine and play. I weigh about 30 lbs. and am a sweetheart of a dog. Can you adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Introducing Jazzy! She is a 15-month-old, 12lb French Bulldog who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. She is a super sweet and spunky girl! Jazzy is the life of the party and has a big personality ~ there is never a dull moment with her around. She does well with other dogs and would be an awesome additional dog to a home or be fine as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention which she so deserves. She has a lot of energy and a lot of love to give so we are looking for a home that can keep up with her and provide her with the care and attention she needs. Due to her energetic and bouncy nature, we are looking for an adult only home or home with older children. We are looking for a flat-faced breed experienced household. She will need a house with a yard, no apartment living for her. She is going to make an awesome and incredibly fun addition to any lucky household that adopts her. Jazzy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $800.
