Story
Cici is built like a little baked potato with legs dressed up as a rollie pollie, and somehow that is only the beginning of her cuteness. This girl is pure serotonin in dog form. She has the funniest little tuck-and-roll moves, the most determined tiny sprint, and the kind of joyful presence that sneaks up on you until you realize you’ve spent the last ten minutes laughing at her simply existing. She is estimated to be 6 years old, is surely a Frenchie/ Bulldog mix of some sort, and at a hearty 30 lbs Cici has made a commitment with her vet to work on her fitness so that number will be going down a bit. Rescue rules apply though so breed and age are our best guess. What we do know for certain is that she is a world-class cuddlebug with an elite-level wiggle.
Go watch Cici on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this roly-poly cuddle nugget. “Cici | Certified Tuck-and-Roll Specialist” is basically required viewing for anyone needing a mood boost.

Cici is very much a people dog first. She absolutely adores humans and wants to be wherever her people or the people are, happily waddling along/ rolling along with a bowling ball center of gravity. Her foster shared that she is incredibly cuddly, follows her everywhere when free-roaming in the house, and loves attention from absolutely everyone. She also loves car rides and is genuinely thrilled to be included in daily life activities, even if that activity is just existing together on the couch.
With other dogs, Cici is polite but not particularly interested in joining the party. She has consistently shown wonderful social skills and easy introductions, but her ideal dog friends are calm, respectful dogs who mostly coexist peacefully. Rowdy, bouncy, high-energy dogs seem a little overwhelming for her and honestly? Fair enough. Cici gives strong “I would like peace in this establishment” energy. She is wonderfully aloof, avoids drama, and has shown zero interest in causing trouble of any sort. She would likely thrive as an only dog soaking up all the attention or alongside another mellow companion who understands the beauty of minding your own business.
Her foster notes that she has been very reliable with regular potty breaks but would not do well being left alone for extremely long workdays without a chance to go outside. She settles beautifully in a crate, walks easily on leash, handles busy environments without stress, and truly seems unfazed by just about everything life throws at her. One of her many fans described her as “a squishy bottom angel,” and honestly… that is a very accurate, endearing, assessment.
Because Cici is still carrying some extra weight (she is working on those stubborn 5 lbs we all struggle with) her future family will want to be mindful about excessive jumping from heights and her daily life should not include too many stairs. She loves being lifted on and off furniture but can easily launch herself onto the couch no problem.
Cici is funny without trying, affectionate without being demanding, and so deeply lovable that people tend to become obsessed with her approximately thirty seconds after meeting her. And we didn’t even touch on her gigantic smile! So much of her to love and more!
